We had never even heard of this place, but the Marriot Savannah Airport front desk ladies mentioned it as a possible place to eat. It's within steps from the Hotel so we walked over but found lines of people outside, so we went in to ask for takeout. Unfortunately, even that had a 1 hr. wait... The ladies who work there were very friendly and suggested we order online from the Hotel and have our order delivered there. And that's what we did. The food arrived even sooner than estimated and it was AMAZINGLY GOOD! So fresh, hot and cheesy and tasty... We had the Mighty Meaty med. pizza and 1 Cheese Calzone with pepperoni and italian sausage. We were in ectasis eating this food! We assumed this was a regional franchise so the closest place for us at home in Raleigh would be Atlanta. Lo and behold, almost arriving back in Raleigh, I googled the place and found there was a store within a couple of miles from our home. After a 6 hr. drive back from Savannah, instead of going straight home, we actually drove to this store and repeated our order from the previous day... can you believe it? It was THAT good! This branch also had a long wait time so we placed our order and came back to pick it up. It was just as good as the day before in Savannah! Our new best place to eat in Raleigh!!

Great pizza. Attentive staff. Clean. Nice atmosphere. Mellow Mushroom has a great selection of pizza and food to choose from that's always been good every time I've been here. The staff are great and do their jobs very well. A great place to eat and even when they're super busy you are seated and get your food quickly.
Over priced, poor quality pizza and a split hoagie roll with melted cheese on it, garlic bread does not make. Everything was very bland and after having them put it in again the pizza was still soft and doughy. Even after complaining it's not edible they offered a $5 off coupon for the next visit and charged $45! I ate almost 1 slice and my friend almost finished her first piece before giving up. Everything was very oily and the pizza wouldn't even slide off of the tray into the box without assistance it was so soft with the "crust" pulling off of one piece entirely leaving the rest on the tray. Paper straws? Really? Even the waitress who was very nice doing the best she could knew to bring 2 extra each person so when it goes soft you have another to use. What a waste.
This is a fun Mellow Mushroom Location. It's all cinematic decorations! There's a good selection of beers on draft and most of the time they are in stock. Pizza and wings are tasty.Service here is hit or miss with attentiveness. If they are out of a particular item they tend to tell you after the food has arrived instead of when you've placed your order.This place can be packed during the weekends and on Holidays.
Just recently moved to Savannah and I read the reviews here and I finally bit the bullet and ordered tonight. Upon looking at the photos of the restaurant my family got excited to go and eat but tonight it was take out 20 minutes before closing. The staff was friendly and pleasant and they were excited to tell me that my kids would love it. Now when I got home I dug in. The sauce is sweet and savory and probably the best sauce IV had on pizza. All of the ingredients tasted fresh.Now the gentleman that looks like a young Michael Jackson really made me feel important as a customer. Listened well and double checked the order was correct. Over all they get a A+
great pizza, friendly staff, high quality ingredients worth the money!
