My family is traveling north and enjoyed a delicious alternative to fast food fare. I enjoyed the Pig in the Garden salad, and was blown away by the generous portion of pulled pork. The meat was tender, smokey, and tasty, and the greens were fresh and crisp. The other members of my party equally enjoyed the catfish, a pulled pork sandwich, and potato salad. A good-natured disagreement was had over the last bit of deviled eggs.I would definitely stop again, and highly recommend Jim 'N Nick's BBQ.

Excellent excellent from start to finish - do not judge this book by its cover - we were sat in a reasonable amount of time - our server Michael was on top of everything - our drinks were always tended to and service was top notch - the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The manager Ken even stopped by each table - what a pleasant gent. We are newer to the area and had not really considered this restaurant from the outer decor and previous reviews - i loved this restaurant and cant wait to go back. Oh yes those cheddar biscuits are the bomb.

Tasty bbq, excellent service, good value for your money. Fried catfish was very good as was the two meat platter with brisket and ribs. $4 for a 22oz Bud. We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our meal.

Ate there for lunch, good sandwiches and delicious sides. Tried the original bbq sauce, honey mustard, and Morgan Co White (sort of spicy). All delish! Cheese breaduffins are served before the meal.

Love this place! The food is always pretty fresh. We tried a lot of different things and haven't found anything we don't like! The staff is friendly and quick the times we went. This is me and my husbands "go to" spot. They even have a drive-thru!

The restaurant is clean and the staff was nice. The food came out quickly, and the cheddar cornbread muffins were cute and tasty. The restaurant is table serviced, and the bathrooms were clean. The bbq was only okay though, definitely not anything to write home about.

My Server Katie truly exemplifies Southern hospitality and warmth, she was very attentive to our table. The atmosphere is modern not pretentious at all kinda like a neighborhood bar. Brisket was pretty good maybe a bit dry, but very tasty, potato salad almost brought me back to memories of my mom's potato salad. The Banana pudding was beyond excellent, the pudding itself was from scratch and so good. My daughter's chicken was also extremely tender and juicy. I would have included photos but it was all so good that I didn't even stop to take pictures. Overall I would get off the freeway and experience this place.

The fried catfish used to be gluten free and I really liked it. It is no longer gluten free. Disappointed. Tried the brisket and corn on the cob. My sensitive stomach is upset now. I wish they could still make the catfish gluten free. The brisket was nice and tender. The corn on the cob was fresh, young and tender, very good.

Great place to eat. Food is good

Looking for a BBQ dinner in Savannah on Sunday (many of the BBQ places are closed or close early), I remembered there was a Jim 'N Nick's in nearby Bluffton, SC and wondered if they had located anywhere in Savannah yet...and I was pleased to discover that they were 20 minutes from our hotel! So, my wife and I headed out to Pooler, near the Savannah airport, and found the location easily using GPS. We were seated quickly and our server, Safia, appeared quickly to take our drink and food order (we were prepared, having checked out the menu online earlier). We shared our order as usual, and chose a pork plate with baked beans and onion rings. Safia was friendly and welcoming...very personable. Along with the drinks came the cheese biscuits. I had completely forgotten about those; they are not really "biscuits," but mini muffins, and I could easily put away a dozen or so without thinking. These are to Jim 'N Nick's what chips and salsa are to a Mexican restaurant. The food arrived before we even took a second bite of the cheese biscuits, surprising us and Safia alike. She provided and extra plate to better share the food. The pork was fork-tender and wonderfully smoky. The beans were well-seasoned and thick, and the onion rings were crispy (and the onions fully cooked)...all excellent. Great experience here, and as consistent as we've come to expect from this brand.
