good food and portions. friendly staff
good prices, ample portions, friendly staff, prompt service.
This is an all American diner. The place is beautiful and even more o on a sunny Savannah morning. It has a cute gift shop inside where you can shop whilst you wait For your table. Food arrived relatively quick and portions were large aa expected. We got the pancakes, shrimp and grits, counter fried chicken etc. Everything was delicious. I would definitely recommend.
Food was great but service was lacking this particular time. Usually it's one or the other, a great waiter and lousy food or great food and lousy service. I know things are hard now for those working in the food service, I get it, but she walked by our table several, several times to 2 other tables before even stopping by to say she'd be with us soon. We waited almost 15 min after we were seated for a server to come. We ordered and one in our party never got the sides to his meal because she kept saying 'she was getting that order in or she was checking on it' after asking twice, we just gave up.
There was 6 of us, 3 kids (one being 2) and a special needs adult, it took us 20 minutes to wait to be seated which was fine. After being sat, they took the drink order about 10 minutes later, after about 20 more minutes we received our drinks and ordered our food. It took another HOUR to wait for the food to come out, most of which was cold. One of the kid meals we got we swapped the norm with “seasonal fruit” which ended up being a half handful of just blueberries and uncharged us an extra $2. The wait staff looked irritated, and grumpy. Manager didn’t look like he knew what to do to better assist us. Even after the manager was alerted about the situation nothing was tended too. We also never received any condiments. Mind you when we sat down normally they are to bring rolls and they didn’t. So for an hour our kids sat waiting for food with their already empty cups and no one coming to our table.
Always good when I go to eat. Friendly, professional staff, great service. Feels like home.
Convienent to hotel and within walking distance. 25 minute wait for half their usual menu; mostly cocktails. Waited another 10 minutes to get a server who didnt know we were his table, although he was nice. Dad was sick and only wanted soup. No soup served during hot months! Save your aggravation after a long day of travel and drive to the KFC across the main drag...
Biscuits are always amazing!! The country fried steak was a little dry though. Otherwise great service! Thank you!
We had a 35 min wait before being called to be seated. Then waited 5 min to actually be seated then waited 44 min before getting the wrong drink for myself and a half full cup of coffee for my husband. He was not given cream or a spoon and there was no sugar on the table so he couldn't drink it. People who got there after us got their meals before us. They are completely disorganized. It took 30 min to be asked if we wanted drinks then 2 people asked us within a few minutes. But it still too 14 min to get them. Even when we did, we weren't given our biscuits. It took 55 min to get our food from when we were seated.I usually love the French toast at cracker barrel but today it tasted like it was fried in oil. I am not a fan of fried tasting foods so it was sorely disappointing all around. We asked for biscuits and they were good. My eggs were good. And grandma's special was good. I do love that they use pure maple syrup.
Great place for breakfast. In particular, the waitress was the best. She was a lovely lady. The bill was $28.00 We left her $40.00. She was that good.
