So...I just got off a flight from Paris and it was after midnight. I was starving for a great cheeseburger. I stopped at the Cookout in Pooler, GA. I had a delicious cheeseburger with fries. It was my first visit there and it didn't disappoint! I will definitely make a return visit! Thank you Cookout for being open that late and for a great cheeseburger!
It was edible but not what I ordered. Light on the condiments, yet it looks it was dunked in a vat of condiments. Lettuce looks like it soaked in water. Oh yeah fries are spongy. Way to go.
Typically have good experiences and my kids love cookout. Went through the drive-thru today and ordered a plain cheeseburger tray with sweet tea. They were out of sweet tea. Then got home and the order was totally incorrect ... not even a cheeseburger.
If you want a lot of food for a little bit of money this is the place to go. Their food is pretty good and their burgers are fresh. Even when they're super slam busy they get you in and out of the line pretty quickly. Keep in mind that the food is made to order so you might have to wait a couple minutes but it will be fresh. Hamburgers hot dogs and the cheese bites are so good. If you really want something different and tasty try the banana peanut butter shake. All of their shakes are genuinely made right there not with a powder and they have fresh chunks of banana and whatever other ingredients you would like in them.
I am not a fan of fast food in general, but my son loves Cookout, so that's why we went because he had earned a treat. The food was hot and the order was correct, so that is definitely a plus. However, I'm not a fan of any establishment that doesn't make sure to thank their guests, and not a soul said "Thank you" the last two times we went. Also, and this is an unusual complaint, they overfill their shakes so you have to be prepared to clean up the minute they are handed to you.
This my second time coming to this location & disappointed both times. Onion rings were over cooked, they forgot the cheese in one of the burgers I ordered, the meat of it was just disappointing for a double and the chicken wrap was just DRY. I used to love cookout, not sure if they downgraded in quality, but it’s my last time here honestly. I rather go to Wendy’s any day.
Burgers and fries were very good. Chicken strips were good, coating thick and crunchy. Milk shakes were very good. Very reasonably priced.
Food was fast. Only ok thing. Definitely some attitudes in the drive through and the burgers were litterally *rolled* up in the aluminum foil. Crushed buns and very slapped together. Top of my fries looked like they won the Cajun blanket wrestling match from the other fries. Probaly won't be visiting this place again ANY time soon.
Food was good, price was good. Drive through design sucked. Would recommend changing it make it more efficient...make me wait to take 2-3 other cars orders than pull me up and make me wait again, then when going around the building there's nothing to indicate where to stop to pay.
We stopped in while traveling though and have to say we were a bit disappointed. We went over our order very carefully with them but they still got it wrong. We had to wait about 15-20 mins to get our food and there was only one other car in the other drive thru lane. We would have went back to get our order correct but we were already back on the road before we realized it and on a long trip we weren’t turning around. I think we’ll try to find another location while traveling in the future.
