Stood at the host check in area for at least 10 minutes , never even got acknowledged, couple in front of us was there even longer and left , we left shortly thereafter and went to Ruby Tuesdays and promptly were seated and served.
The appetizers were good, the mixed drink was 90% ice, the burgers were greasy and tasteless, the kids chicken sliders were bland and dry and fries were cold and crunchy. Took well over an hour for our food. We get that they are short staffed, and chose to stay anyways but the issue was that 3 tables that were sat well after us got their food way before we did. It was like she forgot to put our food in. If that was communicated, we would have left paying for our appetizers and happy/understanding. But forgetting to put our food in and then intentionally avoiding us ensures that we will not be back. 2 stars for the tasty apps.
They have been short handed for months. I can deal with that. The problem was my and 3 other families that came in behide me. We never had some one to come greet us nor say." Hey guys it will be a while to seat you. I'll put you on a waiting list if you like." The Waitress continued to serve other people and didn't acknowledge that she had a group of people at the door. We all walked out and went to the restaurant next Door. One of the guys called the manager. This used to be my favorite place, but since that had happened.I don't wanna go bad
I just want to shout out the to-go runner who helped us around 9:30 tonight. I went through everything and it was all there, but my fries were very stale and crunchy (probably just old). He came back out to give another person their order so I asked if I could maybe swap them for something else? He told me to give him a minute and he came back with a new thing of fresh fries! I know they are short staffed and it was late, but I had a pretty bad day and didn’t cook anything for dinner, but his kindness without being aggravated or upset when I asked for something different was very nice. Thank you!
1 hour wait for a table. 1 hour wait for mediocre food. Happened once before and we gave them the benefit of the doubt. Never again!
There's a reason the parking lot here is very empty compared with all of the surrounding restaurants. Before going in I said to the others "what's wrong with this place?" The 8.5x11 paper taped to the door indicating shortened hours due to staffing was the next indicator. So we walked in 730pm on a Friday and the dining room was almost completely empty. The guy who greeted us mentioned there is a 1 hour wait for food, while being almost empty. The 6 of us left, as did other parties who entered around the same time. Pay your people a living wage and you won't have such staffing shortages which result in so much business being lost. Surely the profits from this store are terrible.
We enjoyed a mini date night after an afternoon of shopping. They were short staffed yet managed to provide excellent service. The food was great as usual ?
This location is experiencing such a massive staffing problem that they often only seat in the bar. The food was kind of gross with wilted lettuce and overdressed salad. Even though the service we received was OUTSTANDING (especially considering she was the ONLY server who showed up that night), I'm not sure we'll be back until their management gets things figured out. While everyone is dealing with staffing issues, other restaurants in the area seem to be figuring it out far better, which tells me that this is probably a management issue.
If I could give 0 stars I would. For the past 2 visits I have been told that they were short staffed and on it had 2 servers. As a customer, that is not my problem. My last experience was waiting almost an hour over the expected time for a pasta via to go order. After waiting so long, I expressed my concerns to the manager and he was very unprofessional and showed no regard for my concern regarding my service. I requested my refund back and he continued with his nonchalant attitude while handing me the paper receipt confirming my refund. NEVER will I go here again and I will tell all of my friends and coworkers to not visit this establishment due to the extreme level of unprofessional I encountered here!!! Never will I go back to this Chillies on Pooler parkway!!
It's 3/16/22 and I brought a date here for an early dinner around 5ish and oh my Lord have mercy!The chef making the salmon is on FIRE!!!That was the very best I've ever had in my life!Carmelized yet still moist, ah! Is was amazing!Well done!!
