We had a great visit to B&d burger in pooler! We had an amazing waitress Maryanne (who I will ask for every single time) who made sure we were refilled and made sure we had everything we needed all night! The food was amazing would recommend the Buffalo chicken dip! Also we got to do bingo which was a blast and such a fun thing to do on a Wednesday night!
I've been going there for 8 years on my way to New York and back to Florida where I live. Went there in October of 2021 and again today May of 2022. Never again. Today is the last time. Very over priced, burgers are the smallest ever. 3 house wines, grilled chicken sandwich and a burger with cheese. With a tip $10.00 tip it was $62.00. Burger was over done plus the wine pours were the worst ever. Don't go.
Lai was our server tonight. She had the greatest personality, and truly gave us her complete attention. She actually seemed like she enjoyed her work. It was refreshing to see a young lady who had such a genuine smile. She checked in us a few times but didn't hover. We will definitely ask for her again!
Date of service: 04/29/22Man! What a great burger!!! This is basically the Ardsley Park (bison) with an added sunny-side-up egg and bacon. I got a side of onion rings (super tasty… like it had funnel cake batter or something) and slapped one of those bad boys on there too.My wife and I took our kids out to eat that night. It was around 6-6:30. The place wasn’t as packed as I thought it would be. We were seated immediately at one of the middle booths and our server (a young man whose name I can’t recall) was very attentive and courteous. The kids all got chicken fingers and my wife and I got burgers.Overall, the place was nice. The restroom wasn’t very clean though and the music was a little too loud for our liking. We had trouble hearing each other at the table because of how loud the music was. It did seem as if the current state of the economy has affected their prices though. It’s been a hot minute since I dropped $130+ on a dinner and didn’t get any adult beverages with it. Overall, we got:2 burgers (one beef, one bison)2 kids chicken finger mealsI side of mozzarella cheese sticks1 side of corn nuggets1 side salad4 sweet teas1 CokeSubtotal: $104.88 (plus 20% tip)Total: $131.11Overall, I’d eat there again. The food was amazing and the service was great. ✅
Best service from any restaurant I’ve gotten in the past 2 years always checking in and fast. I had the bison burger rare don’t go medium rare it was cooked perfectly, the alligator fritters were great appetizer. The waitress even got my dog a real water bowl because I forgot mine thank you.
I love getting the Colonial burger with Fries egg. All the food and staff is always great.
This place was awesome! It server Faith was the best. Food and drink was really amazing, and we had Tybee teas for drinks, and we had the corn nuggets, cheese sticks, steakhouse sliders, fries, and onion rings. Love the environment and even the music playing. They serve gator, bison, chicken, and veggie burgers. Everyone who worked there was friendly and courteous. We will definitely be going back.
Service was fast and friendly. The burgers were delicious! Our server was a lovely girl, Ivey Pope, very informative and engaging. Definitely a place to return to.
Service was good. We ordered burgers. The flavor was good. The patties were just a little small and a little over cooked. Would go back and try some of the other burgers.
Yeah this place has gotten outrageous. The only decent thing I have to say is the service was okay. The burgers are outrageously overpriced, OUTRAGEOUSLY and are flavorless and over cooked. The wings are smoked and the skin is soggy and rubbery, super off-putting. Everything is an up charge and I can’t believe how far downhill this place has gone. Seriously go two doors down to world of beer.
