Amazing food.. love this place every time. Good portions and very good quality. Chicken is one of the best things on the menu. Great people work here.
The wife & I both ordered three tacos. They were nearly $16 per plat. The tacos were primarily made up of bell peppers with very little meat. We spent around $40 total and had to stop at a Wendy's to get something very soon afterward. I felt like this was a total ripoff and I will never go back. The food was OK, what little there was.
Nice outdoor seating, very spacious inside as well. Very attentive servers, chips are excellent. Had a lunch special, taco and enchilada... Beans and rice. Not a lot of flavor, food was fresh. Only thing, shredded chicken was like chewing gum. Still a thumbs up ?
If I could leave -10 stars on this restaurant, I would. I have not been here in about 5 years. The restaurant used to be great. I was in town visiting family and we went there for a family dinner, none of the staff knew the menu or pricing. The menu was very short and when I asked for the kids menu, they said they didn’t have one. They said I could get my kids a quesadilla for 8 dollars each. And this was for a 2 and 4 year old. Then after not getting great service and going inside to ask someone else, I found out both people I was speaking with were new. So they had the manager come out to answer our questions. He said he didn’t have a kids menu option but we could order off the adult menu for them. We had just been brought out drinks and a pitcher of beer, I told him we would cash out but the 15 dollar pitcher of beer that was untouched, would not be paid for, he picked up the phone threatening to call the police. I informed him we would not be back again and would leave a review on our experience and he stated he didn’t care.
The food was great (as always), however, our waiter was absolutely wonderful! I think his name was John (or at least that’s what the receipt said). Great personality, great service, definitely worth the praise!
I'm giving 2 stars because the food was good but their policy is TRASH my husband ordered beef taco loco in error... When they brought it out to him he realized it was wrong and asked for Steak instead when we received the bill they added the beef taco on there. Why, even though it was ordered in error someone had to pay for it. We paid for it so the waitress won't have to... it's a double edge sword because if we didn't pay for our mistake the waitress would have to. Which makes no sense... I asked to speak to the manager how convenient he wasn't there. ? Welp, that's for first and last time visiting this establishment.
Los Mariachis. What can I say about it? From the many Google reviews, it seems like a wonderful place. After all, 4 stars must mean they're doing something right. Right? Well I beg to differ. My wife and I were on vacation in Georgia and decided to indulge in some local cuisine. We found this online and thought it was the perfect fit to scratch that festive itch but unfortunately, I could instantly tell that this restaurant is poorly managed and run. It was quite busy when we got there and the dining room was fairly full. My table and the table adjacent to mine had the same server. This is normally not an issue but bear in mind that there were more than just us 2 tables. The poor girl, as sweet as she seemed, was obviously new. She seemed to be struggling and nobody was coming to help her. I even saw other staff members watching her struggle and did nothing to help her.I decided to try the de carnitas tacos and my wife decided to try the mariaci burrito. My wife is a vegetarian and ordered her burrito without any meat. To both our dismay, her burrito came back with well done beef in it and my tacos came back extra salty and bland. I swear, the only seasoning on them was salt and nothing else. Talk about blech. We returned my wifes burrito (which was also cold) for a new one and it took over 15 minutes to get a new one. I wanted to say something but the damage was already done. I tipped the server as it was not her fault and she tried her best. I will NOT be returning to Los Mariachis in the future.
This is regarding takeout. The food was fine, as it has been in the past when dining in. The problem was they forgot to provide the two orders of flour tortillas. The bag was closed when I picked it up. I suppose I should’ve requested to have it opened so that I could personally double check it for completeness. I would have thought someone at the restaurant would have checked it though. Unfortunately, it was not practical to go all the way back to the restaurant after we noticed the error at home.
Honestly I wasn't impressed. I've been here before and I enjoyed it. I had fish tacos. One of my friends said her food was too salty. We did try the sangria swirled with margarita...it was delicious.
Came into the restaurant about 8p.m. with a party of 8. The server was super nice. They have televisions all over so we were excited about watching the Tennessee football game, though after the third time of asking to have the TV changed, the manager finally said no, that people were watching all the TV's. We explained to the manager every single tv had the LSU game on and they could afford to have the TV in the middle of the room changed. He finally did change it and did not check back with us.After an hour the food came out and was cold, the order was wrong and when it was mentioned, they took the plate back only to return with a hot plate and microwaved Luke warm food. There were 3 staff members leaning against the podium on their cell phones who were asked for lids for the sauces and the girl with long hair to her waist, that was not pulled back, told the server instead of grabbing the lids herself. This was the worst experience I have had in a restaurant. I have to say I do not recommend at all.
