9 am on a drizzly Saturday and we beat the crowd. I ordered the 1/2 portion of pancakes. Wise choice! With a side of crispy bacon (requested) cooked to perfection, I cleaned my plate and was more than satisfied. The full portion would have been a waste unless I was sharing. My husband enjoyed his BLT. Only critique: cooked the sourdough a little more. Potatoes were very tasty, but just warm. Maybe they had been sitting a bit before they got to us? Coffee and cappuccino were very good. Our server was prompt and professional. Clean restaurant including bathrooms. Place was hopping by the time we left at 10 am. Would love to go back if in the area again.
Usually their food is on point but this visit was rather disappointing. We waited 30 minutes for a table and our waiter was so rushed. He was waiting on probably too many tables. He wrote our order down wrong. Then we waited another 45 minutes to be served (before we found out it was wrong). To me, they are trying to be upscale but fall short on delivery. My husband loves this place and talks about it all the time, especially the ricotta pancakes, so we try to make a point to come here when we are in town. After this specific time he was very disappointed. The food just wasn't up to it's usual standard.

This place was absolutely delish! Quiet, cozy and sweet staff. Food was great. The highlight of my breakfast was French toast with fresh berries and the sauce. And let me tell you about that sauce! It was amazing! Something like homemade caramel sauce.Well recommend this place.
The food was fab! I loved that I was able to have breakfast in the evening. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Our assigned waiter was timely and attentive. Food was good. I can’t complain. Very chill vibe and I was able to get some work done on my computer. 5 stars. I would visit again and highly recommend.

Amazing food and service! There’s a special menu running now with some amazing Mediterranean and Lebanese flavors! I had the Kafta platter - best things I’ve eaten in a while!
Highland Bakery is our go to for great food and even better service. They have an extensive menu and you really can't go wrong with anything. The manager, Caralyn was beyond helpful with something I was trying to put together. I truly appreciate her quick responsiveness and kindness. We've had many servers during our frequent visits. We had a large party recently for a birthday, and Katherine was wonderful! She was patient, friendly and didn't miss a beat. Thank you so much Highland Bakery from making my sister-in-law feel special. We were very excited to show all our out of town friends one of our favorite spots. Overall, we LOVE Highland Bakery and feel like family when we walk in. You will too!
Came to this location on Monday and ordered the tofu scramble. As I was eating my food, I noticed 2 pieces of hair in it...2. So I informed the waiter. He said they would take it off my bill. I asked if they could remake the order to go. I checked it out before leaving and saw a small piece of hair on the toast. So I took the toast out and informed the waiter again. I should've just asked for my meal to be refunded at that point. I checked the rest of the food out and didn't notice anything at that time.I decided to take the food to work yesterday...and guess what I found in my food again...more hair. It actually looked like a mixture of lent and hair. I couldn't tell until I started picking it up with the fork. I will never eat here again.
