I was not overly impressed with my experience. Our servers nails were filthy, and he wasnât very engaging. The food was mediocre at best and I was disappointed because I had heard so many good things about the place. Had fish and chips and it was âmeeehhâ. Not sure if we were there at a bad time (late lunch / early dinner).
Delicious food. We had wedge salad, crab cake sandwich and blackened mahi-mahi sandwich.
Had a great dinner out as a couple! We were seated and served promptly, with a balance of attentiveness and privacy from our server and other staff. I enjoyed the excellent shrimp and grits with greens and my husband had the ribs with fries and slaw. Lovely experience!
We had a reservations but arrived 20 minutes early and instead of being sat on the dining floor we were sat in the bar area and waited on by the bartenders. The bartenders were awesome and the service was great; however, a reservation should have gotten us a table instead of bar service. Next time, walk-in.

It was my moms 90th birthday dinner. She and I had the fried lobster tails. They were not very good. Chewy, not a good flavor.
Met a friend for lunch, our server was pleasant informative and patient. My salmon was cooked to perfection and the cauliflower plate was an unexpected menu item with a lot of flavor. Fish and chips ordered by my friend was made with flounder and she loved it. The slaw was a bit sweet for her.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary by having an excellent meal at Due South. The service was top notch, the menu offered a vast array of tastes and flavors and the prices were very fair. My wife enjoyed the shrimp and grits. I liked the crab cake sandwich but loved the she crab soup! Some of the best soup Iâve ever had! We will definitely be making a return to this fantastic restaurant! Special thanks to Jaida our server for all of her help and expertise!
