Let me not let another minute pass without sharing my experience at "Big Shots" It was "Sublime" The Food, The Service, The Encounters I shared with a Patron & The Staff will be a part of the story whenever I talk about "Big Shots!" Oh...Did I mention "THE FOOD?!?!" ?It was delicious & delightful! I had the "Peri-Peri Deviled Eggs" "Mushroom Quiche w/Citrus Vinaigrette on my lovely House Salad ? " And...Wait for it..."THE STICKY LAMB RIBS!!!" I told another Foodie Friend that this is going to be my "New Grocery Store!"? Madame Dee, Lady Diana & The Patron thanks for making my Lunch a Fond Memory ?

Met a business partner here the other day. It was my first time and wow the food is incredible from appetizers to the main meal. Probably the best salmon meal I’ve ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection. Great drink choices. Our waitress was incredible she always checked up on us and made the experience that much more enjoyable will be back for sure!

I was hired and was on my second day 30 minutes early dressed appropriately and ready to work. I inquired when I was going to be able to start taking tables because bills are coming up and I have a family to support. The manager Kathy then was extremely rude with me saying that I should leave and no one is going to tell her how to train. I told her that I was not trying to be rude and she wasn't trying to listen to me. I have never been so humiliated and rudely treated by an employer. The good is amazing but I will never support abusive rude employers.

Great Experience!! This was our first time patronizing the restaurant. We had a party of six and they were able to accommodate us with seating immediately. Once we placed our order, the waitress came back and said they were out of the ribs, two people had to change their order. Even with that happening our meals were great, the crab cakes (appetizer) was to die for. I will definitely be back!!

Celebrated my birthday here on Tuesday night (2/15). It was one of the most enjoyable overall dining experiences that I’ve had in awhile. Five women. Five different entrees and sides. Five different drink orders. Not one complaint from any of us. I cannot stop telling people they need to go here. Special recognition needs to be given to our server (cannot remember her name right now-but she has a reddish streak in her hair and I believe a nose ring). She was excellent, especially since she was doubling as a hostess/server. They got hit with a party of 20 as we were winding up our meal. Hope it wasn’t too overwhelming. There were only two servers scheduled for that night.

Took our large group in without notice & understaffed due to having full house already. Prepped outside patio for us & provided heaters. Gave us fair warning they would do all they could, but they weren't staffed for such a large group, 18 people. The staff tagteamed us, taking orders, bringing drinks, bringing food, then more drinks. Overall, OUTSTANDING service & food. They deserve your business & will put forth every effort to earn it.

Food was delicious! I had the burger which was a lamb curry patty. I also enjoyed the crab cakes. Will be back to try the drinks.

Food and service great as always. Was disappointed in the current draft list.As regular customers we have come to count on at least one nice brown, porter or stout on draft all year round. Was not the case on our 11/26 visit. For us, a nice dark beer is a must!

Stopped in for lunch. Ordered fish and chips (on special). There was nothing special about it and it took about 20 minutes. The atmosphere inside is good.

Having read the “hidden gem” reviews we decided to give this place a try. Made a 6:30 reservation on Saturday night. Showed up at 6:15 (clearly no need to make a reservation but were told at seating that there was a party of 20 due at the same time). Waitress came within a few minutes so we ordered drinks and entree quickly anticipating the large party. We decided to go with the strip steak - waitress immediately said that not many people order it - “mostly a burger place”’. When I expressed my concern she backtracked and said that it would be fine. Got drinks quickly and then…….Observed a nearby table getting entrees and salads all at once. I had specifically asked for side salad “before” entree with this in mind. By 7:15 (and zero food and zero visits from waitress) it was apparent that things weren’t going well. Decided to cut our $42 pp steak dinner loss and leave. Left adequate money for our drinks on the table and headed for the door. Asked to speak to a manager because I didn’t want our departure to be reflected on a pleasant waitress with too little training and no backup from management and the kitchen. Manager asked what we had ordered (she also remembered that my husband had approached her about no paper towels in bathroom - sanitation! Covid!). We were told that it was expected that a steak entree would take 45-60 minutes to be prepared. She repeatedly asked how we had ordered it prepared as if that was the reason for delay. Uh, medium, not petrified. A burger and a medium steak take the same amount of time to prepare.Desperately trying to support the independents but waiting an hour for a salad and $150 dinner is absurd. Said she was sorry we weren’t giving them a chance but she made no effort to rectify the situation (check on our order, get salads ASAP, maybe offer another drink).
