Great place. It has a good bar atmosphere. Lots of sports on lots of TVs, pool table and shuffleboard in the back. Darts, and many other games too. Staff is extremely friendly and the food is great. They do allow smoking in this establishment.

Tried this place out on a Friday night to watch the NBA finals. They also had Trivia that night, which was fun to play. Beer selections were very limited, nothing craft and just a few draft taps. The buffalo shrimp were extremely spicy and the pretzel bites were really good. Bartending staff was extremely friendly and on the ball.
I haven't been to The Derby at Spalding drive in ~12 years. Other than a few remodeling parts, it's still the same ole place. Cold drinks, fun mixture of people, and a fun atmosphere. 100% will be back when I'm on that side of town.
The only complaint I have is the smoking inside. Good food, good poker, good staff!
Cold beer, Great staff and good food.I drank some Guinness and had the chicken fingers, no complaints.Lot's of "regulars" but don't let that deter you, everyone is nice.
Reeks of cigarettes. Doesn't serve blue moon. Dimly lit. It's perfect. Don't change a thing

A place lacking frills, but lacking pretense accordingly. Nice people, good drinks, and adoring regulars are as much as anyone can (or perhaps should) ask for.
