The jerk chicken was very tender and flavorful. The rice and beans was very good and seasoned with the jerk sauce. The cabbage however looks dull and has a bland taste.
Stop what you're doing and come now! This food is delicious, and it's ready! This is amazing and the woman who served me was nice. Wow, definitely coming back to try their other items.I had their sweet chicken in coconut, okra, and jerked rice.
Their OXTAIL is amazing! Perfectly seasoned, like their other superb entrees and sides. I also love their spiced green beans, sweet plantains, and mac & cheese. Portions are ENORMOUS and perfect for leftovers.Relaxed environment, I usually take it out but the dining room is clean as well!
First time eating at Spice It Up and I truly enjoyed the food. I did a pick up order of the curry chicken, mac n cheese w/fried curry rice and side of plantains. I gave it a three stars because I asked for jerk sauce either on top of the curry chicken or on the side and I didn't get neither. Also it doesn't hurt that they are only 3min from my job. I will definitely willl be back.
My meal was good, I got curry goat, cabbage and Mac and cheese. It was all good but I would not get the cabbage again it tasted a little funny. I would highly recommend the ginger beer, it’s yummy and spicy. All together was $20, and probably enough food for 2 meals, or 1 GIANT meal.
One of my favorite spots when I am in the area. Had the Oxtails w/rice and peas and side of mac n cheese. Delicious as always!Hot and fresh.
This is my favorite place to eat. I live 2 hours away and anytime I am in Atlanta I make sure to visit this spot. They changed names since the last time I visited but they still have the same great food and amazing customer service. The quality and quantity is unmatched by any other! You must visit this place if you love Jamaican/Caribbean style food!
This is an edit. Since this is my second time here I have to say I was so excited to get home and eat this plate, and after one bite I died for the second time and went to heaven. Please keep this up y’all are the best.
It's not like it use to be a few years ago...and majority of my protein options were just bones no meat. The food didn't taste bad but it wasn't the best. Especially, the oxtail but I probably couldn't tell because it was majority bones. The Plantains were amazing though but I can't say I would likely come back.
Food is always on point until recently, The rice and peas had absolutely no taste. Very bland. Jerk chicken was dry. The 1st time ever!
