Servers get better attitudes . My meal was too costly, and beef was cooked too hard. I drove 2 hours to be disappointed. No thanks
One of the owners made our experience great ( initially). After he left the restaurant and our waitress was supposed to continue assisting us it went down hill. I had to continue to ask for certain items. She just wasn't as attentive as we had hoped for. The food was good by extremely pricey. Everything was rung up separately. There was no prices on the menu. I really wanted to enjoy this place because I heard such great things.
The food is highly priced for the quality let alone the quantity.The Suya was dry and tough.The jollof w/ beef , the beef was so hard … not tender at all. The hostesses are very professional but you must bring your food up to quality
Since I last visited about 5years ago this place has revamped for the better. Great service, awesome food with great flavors. friendly staff, good vibes....

The peanut butter soup is one of the best things I've ever eaten! We also had the egusi soup which was outstanding. Adele was helpful and friendly making our dining experience completely wonderful. We will be back!
This place was awesome! 10/10 would reccomended our server Victoria went out of her way to make sure we were well taken care of on our first visit to an Authentic African restaurant! This place is amazing i had the Lamb suya and it was worth every penny! We even tried an authentic African "beer" and needless to say it was actually pretty good ?
Dear Ike's Cafe and grill thank you for bringing back memories our visit was greater than expected as my taste buds forgot the great taste of suya and how stock fish can taste even better besides in pepper soup you have finally convinced me to hurry and leave the Midwest I will definitely be back before my official departure though P.S I need that stock fish recipe ?
