I have been looking for a great Italian place for a while. After reading all the reviews on this place, I just had to try it out. When I got there, the inside was excellent. It was homey, and I was excited about the food. I ordered the garlic cheese bread because everyone said you had to. Well, it was ok... The bread was decent and tasted on, but the butter garlic sauce provided nothing extra; it was just bland butter and garlic... The cheese was its real savior. I ordered the lasagna and a salad (half order); both could feed two people easily. The salad lettuce was warm, tomatoes warm, onions... You guessed it, also warm, and then topped with hot shrimp... It wasn't that inviting to eat...cold lettuce, warm shrimp, that's how it is supposed to be. The lasagna was nice and hot and was a decent-sized serving. The sauce was good, and the pasta was cooked well... But boy, was it ever so salty. Didn't taste much else. It seemed like the noodles were cooked in heavy salt water, and the meat sauce had another lb of salt. Edible but just too much... Our waitress was great... Attentive without being over barring and kept the drinks flowing. I wouldn't return, but I do understand how others may like it. Worth pantry won't break the bank but just the expectations unless you love it salty.

We found this place out of pure coincidence. I just adore Italian food so I figured we would not go wrong trying this place. I LOVE the ambiance...brick walks, family pictures and wine galore. The smells from the kitchen were heavenly while entering through the doors. I ordered a Watermelon Cosmopolitan and it was FANTASTIC! My cousin ordered the aviation but it was not what she was accustomed to so our server switched it for another Watermelon Cosmo. Try that Cosmo! We order stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer along with garlic cheese bread. The stuffed mushrooms were filled with sausage and a taste lemon butter sauce. Divine. The garlic bread was a bit greasy but I still enjoyed it. That melted cheese on top of the bread made my heart happy. Lol. My cousin ordered a baked ziti with chicken. It was good but was missing a burst of flavor. She found it a bit bland. I ordered the chicken zaltimbocca with a side of angel hair pasta...covered in garlic butter. First time ever eating this dish. It had a very distinct flavor. The wine makes it have a flavor I can not describe. Its not a horrible dish but not something I'd order twice. We ended our dinner with a cannoli. I'm glad we had the experience but I've definitely eaten some awesome authentic Italian food in my life....to compare to and this did not compare. The people at the restaurant were very pleasant but I felt we over paid for what we got. My opinion of course. I'm very touchy about my Italian food. Everyone's palettes are different. To me ..food is meant to transport you to a euphoric place. Bursting full of flavor.

Reluctantly, I leave this review as my friends and I were so excited to have dinner here tonight. We called ahead for reservations, but were told that we didn't need to. Simply to come in.So, we stood and waited to be seated, and waited for 10-12 minutes without any greeting or any acknowledgement. What a humiliating disappointment! A couple servers did come up to the bar, but had no regard for us. Even if you were understaffed or busy, a simply acknowledgement, eye contact, "We'll be with you in a moment," or "How many for dinner?" would have sufficed.Thankfully, we found a wonderful place nearby that took great care of us.I'm sure this is a rare occasion, but little things matter, such as courtesy. I hope our experience will be better the next time we're visiting here.

Great late lunch. Garlic cheese bread has a plenty garlic. Spinach salad was a nice blend of flavors. The spicy sausage pasta was quite tasty as was the chicken saltimbocca . Definitely going back to have more. Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was empty. Good service. Witty staff.

I've been here many times before, but the last time I went there with my family (a table of nine.), will be the last time we will ever go there. We went out to celebrate my mother's birthday, and everything was going just fine. We got our food, and we noticed that my nephew was on the verge of throwing up twice. He was complaining about the chicken in his dish. We though he was being picky the first time, and the second time we thought he was just over-stuffing his mouth. We told him to just eat! We then tasted the chicken to see if anything was wrong, and everyone at the table agreed that the chicken had an off taste compared to the chicken fillet that someone else had ordered. We then told the server that the dish was not good. She spoke to the manger and told us she would take 50% from the two plates ( which seemed weird for a restaurant to do that if the issue came from their side.) But we didn't think much of it, until they brought us the bill. We notice that they had only discounted 25% from three dishes?? The dishes discounted were not the ones that were bad, and the sum of the discount was less than if they had just discounted 50% from the two bad dishes. We then called over the server, and as we were trying to explain to her the issue, the manager walked by and told us "it's simple math people...." And sucked her teeth at us. I forgot what else she said, but she insulted our intelligence. She left, we asked our server to please call over the manager so what we can explain the issue. The manager came over and before we even had the chance to explain, she threatened to call the police on us. We got angry at her, and she continued by telling us that she did not have time to fix the issue. We never said we were not going to pay, so I do not know why she threatened us with the police. We were a Latino family, so maybe she was not comfortable with us? At the end of it, my youngest brother spoke with her separately and explained to her that her math was wrong. She finally saw that she was wrong. She caused a very uncomfortable setting not only for us, but for everyone else eating in the restaurant. Worst restaurant experience we have had in a very long time!

We’ve loved Dominick’s for so long! We actually had our wedding reception there almost 20 years ago. Always delicious food and exemplary service. The garlic bread is unbelievable! (Please try it without cheese first.) It is such a cozy atmosphere inside, and their location on the Historic Norcross Square can’t be beat!

Amazing vibes amazing service and most importantly amazing food!! Delicious especially their cheese garlic bread!! Wanted to order more but too full!!

I did my husband’s surprise birthday party here. This was my first time there and I know he loves Italian and I know Norcross holds so much history. So I began the inquiry with emails with tons questions and nothing went unnoticed. I even changed the date, and they made it happen. I was impressed by the customer service of the staff & management team. Absolutely amazing and we had a LARGE group and everyone’s needs were met. The serving sizes of the food were great. (Order halves) We all had food to take home.? and I loved hearing the train come through, while we were eating dinner. Thank you for everything Dominick’s of Norcross & we will be back. I highly recommend!!?

Very welcoming staff, food was good. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was that the spaghetti was slightly over cooked, but the flavor was on point.

Celebrated our 33 years of marriage having dinner here! Wow! Amazing food! Lots of food! The food was fantastic! Service and atmosphere was just great! Highly recommend!
