The hibachi was awesome! I eat hear a ton and I enjoy a different experience each time! The chiefs do a great job of entertaining while cooking and the food is great! If you get a chance check them out!!
This place used to be so good. The place has gotten so run down. They upcharge for everything now, when the prices are already so high. The quality is just not what it used to be, either. Our chicken tasted like it was cooked ahead of time and warmed up. We left there paying way, too much for food that just wasn’t good. We are so disappointed.
Let me start by saying I HATE to write a bad review. I really do. We have had many good meals here in the past but honestly tonight's dinner was a mess. Our table ordered a combo of sushi and hibachi and it was NOT GOOD. Hard to believe but the spicy tuna had ZERO spice and the other two rolls almost tasted as if they had been made up ahead of time. The soup and salad came first, then before we could eat that the sushi came out and right on top of it the hibachi. Poor timing and everything was so rushed. The hibachi steak on my plate and my mom's was SOOOOO tough. At one point, I literally squeaked out "pray for me, I'm choking" Thank GOD I was able to get it back up without causing a huge scene. We told our waitress that our steak was so hard to eat and she could have CARED LESS. One thing that irks me is they are still wearing masks so you can barely hear them and you have no idea what their facial reactions are. They need to be trained to get a manager or to rectify the situation. I have eaten a lot of not so great food but honestly at 26.00 a plate, the steak should be edible and at least able to chew properly. They also bring out the check to a dirty table, no dishes cleared. They really need a manager walking around behind these tables to see what's really going on. I don't think I'll be back there anytime soon.
It was quite good; the staff efficient and professional. The hibachi servers were funny and and a nice amount of seasoning was applied. There was enough food for a decent sized doggy bag. I would eat there again.
I have never been here before and have been wanting hibachi!! It was my birthday and decided to go here last night. Honestly, I will never go back. Our chef wasn’t that interested, he cooked then left. My chicken was very chewy and other pieces tasted raw. My shrimp still had veins in it (I understand that’s edible but that’s also gross). The fried rice was the only really good thing on my plate. I heard them sing Happy Birthday about 6 times around me, but they didn’t do anything for me and knew it was my birthday. $100, not worth it. Will never be back.
Went for a sushi lunch during the week. Excellent quality, friendly service, lovely atmosphere. Exactly what you want in a Japanese restaurant.
If you drown the sushi in enough soy sauce, it just might be edible. One of the worst sushi experiences I ever had. It smelled and tasted off, even the salad smelled like fish. Will not be ordering here again. Definitely not the place for someone experienced with good quality sushi.
We waited 1 hour for a reservation that was not honored. We had two birthday celebrants that were disappointed. We called ahead for reservation and they gave our table to another party!
Went to have an early Hibachi dinner with family and a friend. The waitress never refilled drinks, never took salad and soup bowls off table. The chef was very boring. Barely conversed with anyone at the table. Then they charged gratuity on our checks. We only had 4 people. Did not have the amount they list at door for large parties to add gratuity. There were other people at the table but not part of our group. I would never have tipped her that much. And food was just ok. Won’t go back.
The best Hibachi place in McDonough. Chef Andrew is amazing! The sushi is great and the drinks are fantastic. Buckhead flavor without the the 40min drive.
