Today was not a good day at La Parilla. My husband, daughter, and I spent the day riding bikes and stopped here for dinner. My daughter went ahead of us because she wasn’t feeling well and requested a table for 3. When we arrived, my husband asked me to confirm if our name was on the list because people behind us were being seated. I asked Rosina 3 times to simply check to see if our name was on the list. She NEVER answered my question with anything other than “one moment “ and did not check. I sat down…came back when another person was at the hostess desk to find out our name was not on the list. It would have taken 2 seconds for her to answer a question. I didn’t appreciate being ignored in this way. This typically doesn’t happen. We eat here regularly and the food is good.Edit: The manger, Luis, addressed the issue and made my visit much better. He’s great! Thank you ?
Have to say - everything g was fantastic.
Since it was mothers day, we knew there would be a wait. It was about a 50 minute wait (longer than what we were told), and when we were seated, it took quite some time before a waitress showed up. By then, we knew what we wanted so we placed our drink and food orders and also asked for queso without jalapenos. We got our water but not our queso. After the waitress walked past our table a couple times, we asked about it. She said that it was in the microwave. When she did bring it, it had jalapenos and was messily overflowing. Our waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed and it had taken some time to get it, so we just kept the queso. We also had to ask multiple times for napkins before we finally got them. Our food was good and well-seasoned like at other La Parrillas we've visited. A downside was that I asked for rice and beans to be added inside my taco loco, to which the waitress said there would be an upcharge, but they ended up giving me rice and beans as sides instead. We heard our waitress venting to another, so by then we knew she was both upset and overwhelmed by another situation, so we just took the sides and let it go. Overall, it was better than the Howell Mill location (pertaining to service and cost) but not as great as Marietta.
Great atmosphere, wonderful patio seating & always delicious food/drink. Arrive early! There's always a wait!
Probably one of the best grilled steaks I've gotten at a sit down Mexican style restaurant. I ordered it medium and that's actually what I got! My eyes were much bigger than my stomach. I had to take more than half of this home as the portions are huge! Pretty good skinny margarita as well!
Went here for Sat dinner, hour wait ... but it was great once seated. Great service. Family loved the cheese dip, salsa, kids menu items all were a hit. Fajitas and taco loco salad were great as well. Will be back!
La Patrick’s always is great. We visit every year when we’re in town. Great fish tacos and southern fried chicken tacos. The agua frescas are good, too. Anais was a great server.
We love this place, been here a number of times. Food comes out hot and quick. Servers are pleasant. Food is great!
