First time eating here and my compliments to the chef. The food is as delicious! I had grilled Mahi Mahi, steamed broccoli and green beans. The flavors were phenomenal and the presentation was on point. The restaurant is set out of the way but it makes it fee intimate. They do have outdoor seating but I recommend reservations. There was two of us and we ate at the bar which was perfect. Loved the atmosphere and the staff was exceptional as well. I recommend anyone to make a point of going.
One of the best eateries I've had in Newnan, amazing old fashions, amazing meat loaf very generous portions. Get the bread pudding amazing ? I'm tipsy full and feeling amazing definitely coming back!!
Loved it, place was small but cozy. Food was really good We enjoyed our. Meals throughly. Just visiting out of state. Otherwise it would be one of my places to go.
Small solace but good atmosphere and even better food. Make reservations due to the size of the location they may not be able to handle walk ins. They do have tapas and we tried the flatbread and it was bomb. Would recommend asking about the bread pudding as well.
For starters this place is a hidden gem if you’re looking for a nice night out with your better half or if you”re just a foodie looking for a place where the chef has creative freedom, then you must try this place. We started up with drinks. I had a smoked old fashion, made with James E. Pepper rye bourbon, angostura bitters, house smoked simple orange slices, and a maraschino cherry. The wife had a Blackberry smash made with Knob creek bourbon and fresh mashed blackberries Fresca. The table ordered Tapas. A mix of several different items off of the menu in small appetizer portions. We had fried avocado. First look and you would not be blown away, but that first bite hits your mouth with a little crunch and the velvety smooth avocado. It’s definitely something I will order again. The next thing was the ahi tuna. I’ve had this from many different places and make it my self so it’s nothing new to me, but what I can say is that it was the first thing gone and the flavors were on point and cooked flawlessly. I am not a fan of scallions but as a cook you try everything more then once because everyone cooks them differently. The chefs creativity gave him free reign with flavors and it was quite good. At many fine dining restaurants you will find mozzarella, tomatoes, and a Basalmic vinaigrette so there was nothing special there. It is still one of my all time favorites. Very refreshing to the pallet before the main course arrived. Dinner My wife does not order steak over fish all that often but tonight she wanted a Filet medium rare, with mashed potatoes and herb crusted Brussels sprouts. There was not a bite left over. As a cook myself every now and again I like to see what a fellow chef does when I ask for Chef’s choice and to be creative. I did not put any parameters on what could be made or how to make anything. What I ended up with was a white fish cooked in herbs and butter topped with shrimp. Now I have to tell you I am not a fan of shrimp because I’ve worked in a kitchen and have cleaned and prepared thousands of pounds of shrimp so it has turned me off, until that night. I gave him free reign and he killed it. I would order shrimp from his kitchen any day of the week. My sides were mashed potatoes and herb crusted asparagus. Outstanding dinner, amazing environment, and nice atmosphere. Small little bar in the back but well stocked and we’ll trained bartenders. Every drink that came to the table was on point so if it’s food or a good drink your looking for head to Knife and Stone it will not disappoint in any way.
Small and quaint ambiance was spot on but the food fell flat for us unfortunately... The rolls and maple butter were good, the salmon and gunpowder sauce was fantastic but the excess toppings of goat cheese and prosciutto felt like too much was going on. The ribeye was not the greatest cut of meat and the flavor was lacking. We will probably give it another try in the future cause the location is great!
Last night we had the most enjoyable evening at Knife and Stone. The restaurant has a great location, without too much traffic. The building and its interior are gorgeous. The bar is fantastic! I always enjoy a vodka martini, or mule. Last night I tried the Whippet, and it did not disappoint. The Scotch selection is good, too. We started with the fried avocado and the Smokey Bleu salad. Both were fresh and delicious. The avocado appetizer was such a delightful surprise. If you enjoy avocado, try this! For dinner we had the pork chop, and the salmon. Both were amazing. We finished with bread pudding and coffee. We love to celebrate with these guys. Knife and Stone is a favorite gem in our community.
Their Ribeye was Fantastic and the Flash Fried Brussels Sprouts were the Best I've ever had! Make sure to get the Bluberry Muffin Bread Pudding for Dessert! The whole family fought over it, we probably should've gotten two! Will definitely be back!
Amazing food, great service, options for everyone. Family outing, enjoyed everything we ordered! Wonderful experience!
Super delicious! All of the food was amazing. My only wish is they had more options on their menu, but what we had was so good, I can't really complain.
