We were visting from out of town and wanted some southern food, especially some peach cobbler! I was expecting more from the peach cobbler but it wasn't too bad. The BBQ sauce was amazing and so was the Mac n cheese. Our waitress was wonderful as well.
The food was AMAZING! I am from New York and my first time eating there, I was with my cousins visiting and we dine in and took food out. I was blown away, fried chicken was so ? nice and crispy the way I like it, the fried fish, flat sting beans, yams, peach cobbler had me wanting more however the peach cobble was it was gone. The sweet tea I had 3 glasses. I came back to New York BOASTING about all I had in there that DELIGHTED MY PALETTE. When I come back I plan on eating there a few more times. The server we had was very ACCOMMODATING, kind, polite and welcoming. I felt very comfortable the AMBIENCE was very pleasant. Again the food was AWESOME! I give it 100% thumbs up. Thank You so much, AS WE SAY HERE IN NEW YORK THE FOOD WAS SLAMMIN! ??. Love was in the HANDS OF THE COOK. IT ALL WAS GREAT. Parking fine, veggies TASTY, I felt the friendliness. I go to this restaurant when I get off at noon on cobbler iWednesdayy for dressing always waiting on chicken rolls people are on lunch break don't have time to wait today was it for me I got in there at 12 waiting on the usual I ask the guy about rolls he said 3 min l left with out my food threw it down it was 1230 when I left still no rolls mangers used to be in it for the people now it's just for money you charge these high prices but can't never get food should ha plenty of backup it lunch time come on on I will not refer anyone and I definitely won't be back
The Fried Tomato Buffet ? is a great option if you are very hungry and want a variety of options to satisfy your Soul Food/Southern Food cravings! Of course they have delicious fried green tomatoes, but a myriad of other items including a salad bar with all the usual fixing and then some. There's also plenty of hot fried chicken, cabbage, greens, black-eyed peas, sweet potatoes, green beans, parsley potatoes, mashed potatoes, dressing, rutabaga, cornbread, rolls, peach cobbler, fresh fruit, and more!It's an inexpensive and family friendly place with great staff so well worth a visit. We got there shortly after they opened and there was no wait, but if you're in a time crunch you probably should factor in potential wait time. People were flocking in and it got crowded fast!!
Good Food, Friendly Staff, Clean Restaurant. I Recommend stopping by if you love fried chicken and multiple kinds of all you can eat side dishes. It is a Buffett Style food.
We eat here at once or twice weekly. Food is good but the filthy ceiling vents over the tables are disgusting! It would be an easy fix to actually clean them and certainly improve the environment.Today….THANK you!!!! Greatly improved !!
The food was pretty good here. It is a buffet style restaurant. Less expensive than Golden Corral but Golden Corral has more selections. This place is less crowded than Corral also. The only issue I had was they were out of a particular vegetable I wanted. I was only getting a to go plate and didn't want to wait until they brought more out so I just got a different veggie instead. I would definitely come back though.
Very disappointed. Of the 5 or 6 main course items to choose from they weren't very flavorful. The fried green tomatoes were greasy and the sauce wasn't very good.Trash and food on the floor, tables and chairs very dirty.75 minute time limit during peak times? No problem for me.
Omg, This was first visit, But will not be my last.My husband told me about this spot. Delicious the fried chicken , chicken liver, grill potatoes, collard greens, Delicious. homemade bread.The Best waiter!! everything Good.
Great fried tomatoes and squash w/ dipping sauce. meat salads very nice w raisins. BBQ chkn tasty, good price for seniors ; Brenda, our server, most kind. Do NOT go to restaurant in Carrolton ,GA - poor food and different franchise.
