This is Newnan’s best keep secret. Authentic Mexican food and the best margaritas
Tried to go here today, They were closed. Arrived at 2:00 pm.
This place is literally a hole in the wall but in the most charming way! It’s tucked in the corridors behind the scenes in downtown Newnan. Go to Let Them Eat Thai and turn down that narrow dark damp alley way and you will find it. Or you can drive behind the Commercial House and you’ll find it too. Ok now that you’ve found it— you’ll find that the music is a bit loud and not necessarily something you want to hear. Maybe they could try some Los Lobos or other music more palatable from Mexican artists? — and a wee bit lower? All TVs had soccer playing. I mean it’s ok, but other things would be nice too, no? The margaritas are sublime but way too small. I drank mine in 3 sips, all $10 of it. Ouch. Bigger cups or less ice please!! The guacamole is the best I’ve ever had and fairly priced— get it. The steak quesadillas heavenly and also fairly priced. Our waitress was very friendly which goes a long way too. I’m rooting for this place! I loved a lot about it but with a few tweaks - mainly music and margaritas— I’m there again and again.
Try the quesabirria or the steak nachos. Super great. Small place that has great people and plenty of personality.

Solid real authentic food. Everything is fresh and so much better than other local restaurants. Don't think I'll be going to La Parilla again. This truly reminds me of my trip to Mexico. It's down the alley beside Eat Thai. Looks sketch but sooo worth it. It's literally off the beaten path

We ate there last night. It was DELICIOUS! Tacos; delicious. Nachos; delicious. Guacamole; delicious. Everything was fresh. This is a must try restaurant in Newnan!
