At the suggestion of some local friends, we decided to give this place a try. Send that they are more set up for drive thru than sit down, but the food was good. I ordered the Loaded Mac and my wife ordered the Awesome Fries. The tray came out rather quickly and had a plentiful helping of food. The bbq sauce was also very good. I ended up using the Sweet sauce. The place is mostly self serve, but if you expect that coming in, it will make your experience better. The drinks are self serve, but we were not told that when we placed our order. After sitting for several minutes, the cashier went and prepared our drinks for us with apologies for not telling us. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. We will probably come back in the future. This location is highly recommended!
Wow! If you are looking for a great place to eat in Newnan, Georgia, Dunc’s BBQ Kitchen is the BEST. I’ve had bbq in many Southern states and theirs is #1 by far. From the wonderful smoky smell to attractive dining area and friendly, kind staff and then the food: the brisket and smoked turkey are out of the world delicious and the smoked cabbage cooked with enough sausage to give it a little kick could not be beat. Then top it off banana pudding that was so good it was better than Grandma’s. I was only in Newnan one day but I will be going back soon and will certainly be eating at Dunc’s.
Really delicious brisket! Tried brisket with their catfish and shrimp. Food was absolutely delicious and the sweet sauce was good.I think it’s slightly pricy for the amount of food you get. Also, was a bit disappointed in my ordering experience. I placed a to-go order over the phone and asked for silverware, asked at the drive-thru counter when I picked up the food and the worker assured it was in the bag. However, there wasn’t any when I arrived at the hotel.But food wise, it was delicious and cooked to perfection.

We stop in for a bit to eat while exploring Newnan Ga. Dunc's BBQ Kitchen is a nice place to eat. We had the bisque and Ribs, Mac and cheese.
Absolutely wonderful food. The plate I had was brisket and ribs. Greens, Mac and cheese with hush puppies. The meat is served without sauce, which I prefer. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The only thing I didn't love was the Mac and cheese. It was ok. Other people will probably like it fine.All the workers are really nice and easy to talk to. Knowledgeable about any questions you have. Decent beer selection. Nice outdoor tables that are dog friendly.Had a great lunch. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes. The food is definitely legit.From what I was told, the chef/owner is from Memphis. If you know that style, you can picture what you're going to eat. I wish everyone there the best. Truly wonderful food.Unfortunately, no real vegetarian options. If that matters, you might want to go somewhere else. The vegetables I had were fantastic. Pretty sure almost everything has bacon or sausage in it.I totally recommend it for anyone who loves BBQ.
Friendly staff. Food came out quickly. Mac & cheese was excellent. Brunswick stew was good. Didn't care for any of their sauces, so meat was a little dry. Ribs don't come out sauced...just smoked. Hushpuppies were good. A little on the pricey side. 4 plates was over $80.
Food always good but this “new” counter service ordering is not cool. I understand being short staffed but I saw four employees and it wasn’t busy. I had to get my own drink too. I might as well have gotten my own food too. If I am going to sit down At a restaurant I would really like to be served otherwise I will just go to a fast food place.

BBQ Kitchen implies that the BBQ will be great. Perhaps the pork is great, but I've not tried it. The brisket has simply never been good - whether too fatty or simply sliced incorrectly, leaving it all tough...just not good brisket. Catfish is always good, sides are as expected - good slaw, good hushpuppies. Service as others have stated is spotty - sometimes great, other times meh, overall just inconsistent. Will continue to visit when I'm in town as the owner is just a nice guy.
