We went thru about 8pm. There were alot of people in the back, but no one in a uniform. There seemed to be alot of confusion about our order, we ordered 5 blizzards and a pup cone. As the young man was handing my order to me, I could see right away it was not what we asked for. It was peanut butter. We didn't order it. When I have it back, he argued that it was a mint Oreo, so I removed the lid to show him and he yelled what the hell is this? To a guy beside him. Then he tells me we didn't ask for the pup cone, so I showed him the recipe where I paid for it. He wasn't sure how we did it, he said. It was like ordering at animal house! I'm not sure if both Dairy Queens in Newnan are owned by the same people, but they REALLY need to work on customer service. Of you want much better ice cream and STELLAR service, Go to Whit's on Dixon St. They are wonderful!!
Just shut this place down and make room for a company that wants to serve customers. I walk in to order to a take out just to have some jerk ask at the counter, "What do you want?" "I want to order for take out, please." I responded. "We're only doing drive thru." He says. He's got his jacket slung over the counter and if he was managing my restaurant he'd be out the door. Y'all should be ashamed to be operating under the Dairy Queen name. Close your doors, hacks.
Page says dine-in. It is apparently not despite no sign being on the door. And if you dare to walk in, they will not Serve you. They expect you to go back and get in your car and come through the drive-thru. Page needs to be updated. Just drive on down to Wendy’s. They have lost my business unfortunately.
Dairy Queen is awesome! ....but.....let me warn you about the red velvet cake blizzard. My son and I tried it. The first 3 bites are amazing. Then, every bite after was chewy and not to my liking. Other than that one time, it is the place where my grown son and I go once a month for a tasty blizzard! Good treats and eats!
This location has really been going downhill. Tonight took way too long at the drive thru for fries, curds, and 2 of the same blizzards. My fries and curds were given first, I saw a sauce in the bag and thought, "great they got the ranch I asked for" (when I got home I realized it was marinara I didn't ask for). I had to wait like 5 min for them to mess up my first blizzard and split it between the 3 employees standing around, then wait another few minutes for them to get my 2 blizzards. The cheese curds taste like frozen Farm Rich ? and the last few times I've been in, the blizzards are only blended halfway down so once you're halfway through its just vanilla soft serve.
We sat in line for 45 minutes along with other cars and gave our order for ice creams only to get to the window and was told we only have food tonight. I said then why did you take our order? Of course the employees were rude. Bad service and it was obvious they didn’t want to work tonight. Everyone in line behind us drove away to. They lost a lot of business tonight.
No matter what size blizzard you get. The first maybe quarter of it actually has the mix ins. The rest is just straight ice cream. It’s been like that for at least a year. I figured maybe it would be different being that they’re under new management/ownership but that’s not the case.
Menu prices are too high at this Dq location that’s not it manger and employees are very rude. I ordered their new burger combo meal it was $14 for one meal I’m never coming back at this location. I highly recommend downtown location their dining is open and their prices are lower.
The Manager just took a bag of food that dropped on floor from the trash and gave it to an elderly lady. The cook said shee wasn't making the food again. This is a poor excuse of a DQ. I will be seeking to speak with someone higher. Absolutely unprofessional and disguising. The Manager also lets his child work and he is not of age. And they have bugs in the ice cream
Horrible will not be going back
