Coldstone Creamery/Newnan Staff: Incompetent. Inept. Insecure. Inadequate. Worst customer experience. Here’s some insight:It’s SUMMER time.Your PRODUCT is ice cream. You SELL ice cream.Offering WAFFLE cones are an added benefit to your product. That is a GOOD THING.I watched multiple customers walk in and ask for waffle cones (which you charge extra for) and you denied them or said they’d have to wait a while to get one. Where is the owner? Where is the manager?YOU LOST MONEY because you didn’t want to make a dang waffle cone - which is a good thing for your business! If you’re in the business of happily losing money — that’s a problem. To make matters worse, they tried to tell a customer they wouldn’t accept her $50 bill. Wait, what? BUT they were only accepting cash - which no one would know until they got to the actual site. The sign was posted on the door. How was was she supposed to know to have smaller bills - especially if she normally pays with a card like most people. The staff didn’t want to do anything - they didn’t want to be there! It was so obvious! Take your ice cream money elsewhere. And Check out their Indeed reviews and you’ll understand more)Incompetent. Inept. Insecure. Inadequate.
I ordered some cupcakes for my mother-in-law who can't drive. The website offers delivery. I thought that would be great since I live 16 hours away and couldn't make it for her birthday. The website didn't mention that they used UberEATS to deliver. I went through two different drivers and one didn't know how to cancel on her app. She didn't want to deliver something that was like five miles from the store. If you are trying to get something delivered from Cold Stone just go through UberEATS and not Cold Stone's website. That way you can tip the driver so they will want to take your order. Since you are not the direct customer for the order that is being delivered there is also no help support. The third driver took the order but couldn't find the address so my mother in-law had to walk out to find the driver. The woman that I spoke with at Cold Stone was super sweet and even though she couldn't do anything for me was at least very kind. The owner did say that if no one would pick up the order that I could be refunded since 16hours drive time is too far for a pickup.
Closed early because they wanted to go home. Our entire family arrived at 8:20pm (close at 9am) for a post birthday dinner ice cream and the entire staff was still inside but said they recently changed their hours on “certain days”.. ridiculous
Hair was in my icecream bowl! UGH!!The employees making icecream weren't wearing head coverings/hairnets or hats.
One of the best ice cream I've had. Many flavors and toppings.
I have NEVER written a review for anything before, but after my last experience, I just have to. I used to always love Cold Stone, but the employee who served us was so awful and rude to the point I don't know if I'll ever go back to this location.. You're better off going to Creamistry a few stores down. It's about the same price, pretty much the same idea, just as good, and the staff are always polite. Or if you really want Cold Stone, go to a different location.
Ice cream was great. Staff needs motivation. There are only two small tables there and both were dirty. Paper towels stacked high in the bathroom, at least push it down or change out the bag. Staff acted like we were bothering them by simply walking in. Tighten up youngins!!! This will probably be the easiest job you’ll ever have. Have some pride!!!!
Like their ice cream , but they said they open at 11:30 . Been sitting out in the heat for 15 min after they’re supposed to be open and no one will open the doors even though their are people inside . Just would be nice if they opened at the time they said they’re supposed to .
Update: When we saw the charge in our banking account, the staff had added a tip that was a few dollars more than what we had given.Ice cream shortage and out of cones. It was still good. Staff was busy doing the best they could with what they had. The floor was sticky though.
First time for our little boy to get their ice cream. Great experience~♡~
