The hostess and our server, Morgan, were the main highlights of our visit. I ordered chicken spinach Alfredo and my husband, the bourbon chicken and shrimp. My chicken was pretty dry. He had no complaints. The drinks were great though. Very flavorful. Dessert was good too. We enjoyed the blue ribbon brownie. Morgan was very attentive and even the hostess walked by and asked how we were doing and offered us a bag for our to go containers. While the food fell short of expectation, the quantity was good as was the service. Thanks!
This has to be the worst Applebees. The staff was arguing behind the bar. They all seemed so unhappy to be at work. The only server that seemed to be happy to be there was the male server. My food was was not even edible. The sauce from the chicken was just dumped into my pasta. The shredded cheese not even melted on top because the pasta was cold. Definitely a terrible dining experience.
Haven't had a decent meal from Applebee's in years. Everything is always stale, cold, and borderline inedible. Sauces taste oily or floury and the food is clumpy, freezing temperatures, and bland. An appetizer and two entrees with a tip is around $40, I wouldn't pay $5 for the quality of food I get here. Gave them a last chance today to see if quality improved and it has NOT. The problem is not with the waitstaff, but the food itself, which is disgusting.
Stopped going to Applebee's about 6 or 7 months ago due to repeatedly poor service in Fayetteville over time. Was in Newnan the other day and decided to grab a late lunch, around 2:45. I was skeptical but decided maybe they changed.....We were seated pretty promptly and given one menu to share since she could only find one menu at the Hostess Station. There were only two or three other diners in the store and 1 person at the bar. Waitress took about 8 to 10 minutes to come out and ask about drink orders. We went ahead and ordered food at the same time as drinks to save some time. Food came out fairly quick and was good quality. Waitress never came back to our table the entire time we ate even though both our drinks were empty. We finished eating and waited, waited, waited, waited.....no Waitress. Went to the bar finally and said we were ready to pay, bartender said she would get our vanishing Waitress from the back. Finally Waitress came out with our check and apologized, said they were busy "cleaning up in the back". We tipped 20% even though the service was abysmal. Applebee's will all be closed soon just like Ruby Tuesdays due to poor customer service. Won't return.
So disappointed. This was my daughter’s cheeseburger that was delivered by door dash earlier. It looks disgusting, it’s half there, I wasted almost $35 on lunch because I couldn’t eat after I saw her burger. Applebees has gone down hill so much. ?
Stopping for dinner while traveling home was the worst experience of our day! Our order was left in the back (we heard and saw another server tell Nita our food was still in the back waiting), the food was cold, we continuously received the wrong tickets, waited 20 minutes more to receive correct tickets (went to the back and retrieved manager to receive correct tickets), server angry became VERY rude and ripping items off table. When spoke to manager (Marsha), just smiled and said, 'she's new but I'll talk to her.' We spent two unnecessary hours in the restaurant which delayed and tarnished our travel home. We will NOT return nor recommend when traveling.
Stopped in on Monday December 27, 2021 at 550pm for dinner with my family. We were the first of four families who entered the restaurant within 5min of each other. We were informed that there was only one waitress and we would be seated in 20min. We were told our table was ready and to follow the waitress. Well, we got left and had to find our way to the table while escorting my senior mother. Got to the table, no silverware. She circled back and said she would return woth a high chair. Maybe 2min later the family of four, which was familar with the waitress, was seated after us in a booth. She proceeded to continue to chit chat, provide utensils and take their drink order. She then continued to walk past us without providing utensils, further acknowledgement or a high chair. At that point, we left.
Was there almost 2hrs, several tables sent food back, my steak came out raw, waitress never offered refills, got onion rings with meal, they came out 20 minutes before steak, had to ask for my salad. I finally found the manager & paid for my husband's steak which was supposed to be medium well came out dry & curled up.
The worst experience ever at any restaurant we’ve eaten at. Poor waitress was so embarrassed. First I ordered crispy chicken salad - what I got was chicken Caesar salad - I didn’t complain but I did ask for a knife so I could cut the “grilled” chicken. Waitress said all they had was a plastic knife but she could ask the dishwasher to wash a knife. Apparently she washed one herself and brought to me. My husband ordered a Prime dip sandwich - a different waitress brought it. No au jus dip with it. When husband ask for some he was told they were out. He attempted to eat the sandwich but the meat was so tough he couldn’t bite it - so sent it back. The restaurant was dirty - trash all over the floor at the hostess stand. Applebees corporate should inspect this location. Apparently the manager is totally worthless.
This place has been here for a long time. It shows. It definitely smells like it. The decor hasn't changed.... Much. The server, who was training another, was awesome. She was attentive, and pleasant. Now.... I love the fiesta lime chicken. So does my wife. I wish Applebee's would use a fresh chicken breast like they use to. Instead, they offer a microwaved, then broiled, piece of chicken like substance. The dish was not set like the menu. The rice was not cooked really well. I will continue to hope for change. But... Also, check your silverware, and glass. Spotty..
