I ordered chicken hibachi with white rice and I got the picture below. First of all there’s no rice and whatever that meat is, it did not taste like chicken. It doesn’t even look like chicken. The only reason I gave them two stars is because I had some miso soup as well which was pretty good. But I will not be ordering from them again.
The inside was nothing special, very relaxed, dress down quick place to eat. The sushi was delicious and prepared by Chefs right where you can see. They also have a pretty good sized menu of other options if sushi isn't your thing and the prices are very reasonable. The entries are very colorful and delicious as well!
I ordered lunch today at the Mount Zion location. Little did I know halfway through my meal I noticed an undeniable roach in the brown sauce. Yuck.Took it back immediately and showed the lady that I didn't order a cockroach in my meal. She immediately went into the cash register and gave me my money back and walked the food back to the cook. No apology whatsoever! I walked out and everyone in there waiting for their food was pretty much buck-eyed. I just said good luck and walked out.
The day i went we had to wait on the waitress to show up, about 25-30 minutes late. I ordered the lunch shrimp egg foo young, and was very disappointed, inside was not cooked well and it was tasteless. So for me I will not be returning. I really had a taste for some good egg foo young. The waitress came to box the left over, I was like i am good on that.
This is our local go to sushi place. Our server tonight was the only one on the floor and had a full seating area. She handled it really well. Our food was delicious as always.
Sad that I just found this place after being here for two weeks and leaving in just a couple days. Food was amazing and quick. Much better priced than the Great Chow buffet up the road. Spent half as much here and still had a better meal. Waitress on 3/22 right at opening time was nice.
I was very disappointed. I ordered a large shrimp fried rice it was so bland and dry, also a veggie delight in white sauce it way dry no taste and not a teaspoone of sauce, ordered 6 shrimp egg rolls also dry and tough, the sushi was delicious, the hot and spicy soup was fine. I had a party of 3 to dine in and I ordered to take home. Dine in food was satisfactory. But my take out order was a waste of money.
I loved the food so much my only problem was the lemonade tasted like pepper. But the sushi, miso and fried rice was so good. I recommend it for those who like sushi and those who dont but wanna take their friend that likes sushi out. There are things for everyone I truly love it.
I usually order from this restaurant because it's the only sushi place I've really known and been familiar with since I moved in this area years ago. The food is usually great, but over the past few months the customer service has gotten increasingly worse and I'm at a point where I'm not going to order from them. The last FIVE times I have called up there to check on an order in the past few weeks, the front desk associate rudely answers the phone, puts me on hold for 5-10 minutes every single time and is very curt with me whenever I ask a simple question. As I type this review, I had been waiting on hold for almost 15 minutes and it turns out they'd never even put in my order ID sent over an hour ago. After this order, I will not be ordering from them again and I suggest the staff gets more training on how to talk to people because this isn't just a one-pff occurrence.
I came here randomly one Tuesday afternoon. Our waitress asked for our order and as we were giving it she didn’t write anything down. I was a little worried about the accuracy of her memory since it was four of us but to our surprise she remembered our order! The food was sssoooo good and they have so many food options!
