This place was amazing. Is quaint and the staff is so friendly. It felt and tested like home
Customer service was wonderful! I ordered the smothered pork chops rice and gravy green beans and mac and chz. My rice is overcooked. Theres absolutely no seasoning. And the mac and chz taste like mustard! Love to support black business's but im good on it!!!!
Pre COVID-19 this place was absolutely delicious! Everything was yummy... I mean everything! Yesterday the food was horrible. The tea was soured... I had to spit it out once it touched my tongue. The greens tasted as if the whole bottle of salt was poured in the them. The broccoli didn’t have any type of seasoning. The mashed potatoes was boxed. The fish was okay. I don’t know what happened, but they need to consult with the previous cooks if at all possible.
New name now called The BBQ Spot. New menu with very little BBQ options.I miss the pre-Covid 19 Soul Delicious but did enjoy the shrimp . I will give them a second chance on the sides.

if i could give 0 stars i would. Worst soul food Ive ever had. Whole chicken wings had no season whatsoever. Cabbage taste like water also no seasoning -- mac and cheese don't get me started on that TERRIBLE ! The only thing good on my plate were the yams. So disappointment because I've had my eye on this place for a while. AFTER changing my order several times because they didn't have any fries or collards or broccoli. smh. I spent my hr lunch break waiting.

This spot is fantastic! Reasonable pricing, big dishes and the employees are regularly very kind.
