This Christian & Black owned business is well run. It reminds me of more of a clean family owned fish shack, only because of it's basic/simplistic operation.The food was well prepared and perfectly seasoned. I ordered the whiting & shrimp with a side of greens. The collards are prepared with smoked turkey and delicious.
Tried to order through a National food delivery service, immediately after ee paid I received a phone call from the restaurant they don’t have Red Velvet cake they don’t have chocolate cake they don’t have broccoli they don’t have several other items. Tell them to refund those items and send the meal anyway. 15 minutes later the national food delivery service calls us and tells us that the restaurant has canceled because they don’t have the items they need to fulfill our order. This is a huge question mark to me because this is a seafood place and that’s what we ordered shrimp and catfish are they not the staples of a seafood restaurant? Don’t worry I will never order from you again ~
Our food was fantastic. EVERYTHING was home made, even the sauces. Our fish was really fresh and very tasty. We will definitely be back here again!!
This was our first time eating at this establishment. It was recommended by a colleague and it was excellent! The young man Demetrius that greeted us with a lot of sincerity and professionalism to just a very warm welcoming. The food was beyond our expectations. I had the tilapia with fried green tomatoes. My fiance had catfish and shrimp with fries. I wanted to try more items on the menu, but the portions we received were plenty. My fiance couldn't stop raving about how good the food was because it was cooked to perfection. We will definitely patronize this business again.
At first I was confused about why they would name this place "Fishers of Men", but then I realized it was a biblical reference because this place is Christian-owned. Anyway, everything about this place is hot. The temperature inside was hot when I went there and their food is scalding. However, I like the decor and the fish is excellent (once you let it cool down). Maybe someday I'll come back on a cooler day.
What a find! We were passing through the area when we found this delightful eatery based on reviews. First, we were greeted by the nicest people who gave us an overview of the menu and specials. My husband and I ordered a variety of foods (gumbo, catch of the day, catfish and shrimp). The gumbo was so amazing we bought some to go for our lunch the following day. We may drive through Atlanta again just to eat here again! You can't go wrong.
My husband and I was looking for a place to eat yesterday and I looked on the internet and found this place near me. I called and the rest is history!!!!!. The place was immaculate and the atmosphere was very pleasant of the staff. The food was very good and I had so much I couldn't eat it all, had to bring the rest homeEverything was delicious even the dessert was excellent. We love it there and will be back.

Hidden Gem! Today my husband and I visited this restaurant. I have been wanting gumbo for a week now. We ordered the Catfish & shrimp meal with a large gumbo. The food was delicious!! Great friendly atmosphere. The restaurant was very clean and outlined covid measures. Lastly the owner was very nice and explained the menu for us.. We will absolutely visit Fishers of Men again, you want be disappointed ?
