First time experience! I ordered the buffalo bird sandwich and substituted swiss for american cheese and added bacon. The texas toast was toasted so well. Crinkle fries were hot with the right touch of seasoning. My best girl got the loaded cluck sandwich and she loved it as well. Bailey was a great server.
MaryAnn and I eat At TgeVelvetElvis regularly on Friday or Sat n8ght..The Filet and Blackened Shrimp or Mahi Tacos are fantastic..great American Burger, Onion Rings.The wait staff is superb..well trained, super friendly and connected to our active community..You k 8s first caClass if your server stops by and checks on you, sits across from you often and exchanges pleassntries..We enjoy a couple of top local downtown Milly establishments including The Velvet and The Brick..You can count of Top Choicr prime beef steaks on Thurs thru Sat as well as great sandwiches, appetizers and really great servers..no comparison to Chain..
This was my first and last time coming to this establishment. I was with a group of 9 people. The waitress was slow. She had forgotten to get one of my friends her drink. I was not pleased with my order either. I ordered the marinated chicken and it had little flavoring. I ordered a salad and fries. The waitress asked me if I wanted my salad out before I got the rest of my food. I responded with yes, I did. All of my food was brought out the same time. Then as one of my friends was still eating and a few still drinking beverages, another waitress came to the table and said another party was waiting for our table. She was told that we were still eating and drinking. I was not pleased with my overall experience of this establishment.
We visited for a dinner with our daughter and husband . The booth seats are wore and ripped that made for an uncomfortable hour. The food was SLOW and the steaks were soaked in marinade ( probably to disguise pour quality) . None of us finished our meal . Not impressed and will not return.
Food was good and so was the service. I thought that since I went alone that the waitress wouldn't give me the proper attention, but I was wrong. She made sure I had extra napkins and checked on me. Good job.
Christian was the best bartender. Timely service; fair and fun! Recommend for every night out. He’s the best! Never had to wait for a drink. Ask for him. Always!
Never perfect, you get a soggy sandwich and good fries or you get soggy fries and a good sandwich. Service is also hit or miss. The last time the waitress decided to talk with her friends and not to take care of the customers.
Wonderful place. The food, the atmosphere, the people, all come together to make it a very affordable and delightful experience.
Great steak on a Friday night! I am very picky about my meat and this was a very very good steak, priced well too. Fun atmosphere. Only reason I did not give a 5 star is because the bathrooms need a major reno. Will be back.
Don't go before Thursday if you are wanting a steak as they only serve steaks Thursday thru Saturday
