*UPDATE*- I would like to say thank you for working to correct this issue. I don't blame your coworker or anyone necessarily, because I formerly was management of a retail store and I understand the infernal machines and how they can be. I'm sorry for any disrespect I gave, necessary or not. I enjoy your food thoroughly, and I will be back. No hard feelings or animosity held. Y'all have a good 4th. ---The only reason I'm giving 2 stars, is because I was charged right at $100 for 2 plates of food. The cashier was fiddling with the card machines journal, and charged my card 5 TIMES. And because of that, I only got 1 receipt. Brought it to their attention, and came back later to get it resolved, and was told there were only 3 charges to my card, and that he owed me only $30. INCORRECT. they owe me $78.44. and I don't appreciate being called a liar in so many words. Also, someone should bother CHECKING the records of the transactions before calling someone a liar. So, I am 100% sure they owe me $78.44, and should pay up. Otherwise, the food is great. I just need my money back that they owe me.

Don't go there expecting Ruth Chris. In fact the food taste better than that, and for much cheaper. Mom and pop spot hits the spot.Food: 4/5

Food was hot and fresh. Very tasty. Great customer service ??.

You need to ask yourself- Are you ready for food done right? I am not from this area and came to visit a friend who has recently moved here. I am unsure if this is a town secret, but this business is special. There is attention to every food and flavor. I came looking for Soul food and this was the right place. Catfish, Turnip greens cooked proper, casserole dishes, fried okra, and gravy to smother it all was what is in the menu. I could not be happier with my choice, but this place should have a line out the door at all times of the year. It is not built to be a eat-in restaurant, it was made to pick up and eat with your family. Bring cash for tipping and be prepared to wait a few minutes while everything is prepared. It was worth the wait and I would say the hush puppies and catfish was one of the best I have ever had. Good job!!

The burger was absolutely incredible. Possibly the best burger in town. Great price for delicious food!

This is a local favorite that appears to have a lot of fans. If you don't order ahead be prepared to wait 15 to 30 minutes for your order. They will bring it to your car. Now to the actual food. I ordered Catfish. 2 filets and 2 sides with my choice of cornbread or roll. The fries were decent. Little heavy handed on the salt but I can work with that. Standard commercial dinner roll. Now the main meat. Catfish. Not Catfish but is actually Swai. I grew up eating catfish. The kind with the whiskers that the fins caused major pain if they stick you. This was not that mean flaky flavorful fish I love. Now don't get me wrong the breading was flavorful and perfectly seasoned, but it's not enough to overlook the 14.79 price tag for a fish that I didn't order. This is the 2nd restaurant in this area that passes Swai off as Catfish. For that I have to count on Captain Ds I guess. Now I will order ahead the next time but fish will not be on my order unless I try the whole catfish and see if I get a different experience.

CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!, I. Won't go back because of that!!! Good was good!! Not the sweet tea though, but no worries, I will never go back!!!!
