Okay. Price is good. Mashed potatoes tasted off. Appeared pureed instead of mashed.
I go and the food is usually pretty good, though every time I have gone something in my order is always wrong. I ordered two plates and I didn’t even get what I requested originally, I opened it up at home and was disappointed. Hopefully next time will be better!
I've been there twice this week. I've had the beef tips, spaghetti, collards, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans, and tea. Everything was excellent, except the mashed potatoes. They tasted like instant potatoes. I will be returning because the food is so good.
Love this place for great comfort food. Always plenty to choose from and you cannot beat the price anywhere.
The food was excellent. I did the 2 meat and two sides. I had baked spaghetti, fried chicken, cabbage and macaroni and cheese. Note: The cabbage is awesome.
Was pleasantly surprised with the fare here. Never had southern style greens before because sugar in greens just plain sound weird. But they weren't too bad. I won't order them again because I'm not a fan of sweet greens but everything else was great.
Great selection of food. I always like the vegetables best. They have good fried green tomatoes too. Sweet tea taste good. Very friendly staff.
6:30 - 7pm Meal. Choice of 4-5 Entreè's, over a dz veggies, homemade desserts, and beverages all under $15 for two. The food was freshly prepared, buffett style. The choices are endless! Clientele included Families, Couples, Folks w/an elderly parent, or just Workers who had finished up a job; every one searching for for that meat & three Dining Experience. This place is not fancy, but it is clean, the people are nice, and the food is good and hot. Locally owned & operated. There is also a Drive-Thru for convenience. All meals are served in take-away styrofoam trays. No alcohol.
finally made it to lunch at Fried Green tomato, the food was wonderful, great home cook foods A+
