I just visited this Waffle House for breakfast because they currently have a health score of 100 which is VERY impressive. I rated this Waffle House with five stars first and foremost because of the WONDERFUL service received by the Waitress, Miss Helen. Miss Helen was extremely pleasant. She was very accommodating. I did not order a beverage, but she brought me a glass of water anyway. My husband asked for butter but I told her I had an extra one. She brought him one still, noting the butter is really good. We were glad she did because I ended up using my extra. Miss Helen was just so attentive to all the guests, assisting us where needed. My husband and I even overheard her giving advice to what seemed to be a newly hired person. The young lady was very rude, but Miss Helen just told her, "I'm only trying to help you." That meant a lot to hear that!Secondly, I rated five stars because they obviously have a great cook because the food tasted magnificent. I am skeptical about buying grits in the streets. This Waffle House knows how to make a good pot of grits for sure. My bacon was perfect. The pecan waffle was JUST RIGHT. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his sausage bowl too. We appreciate the great food, service, and hospitality at the Waffle House in McDonough on 265 Jonesboro Road. Thanks!

Picked up the phone and hung it up, called back 10 times and they will not answer the phone. Extremely unprofessional and I will not be going back to any Waffle House, huddle house it is.

I’m not a Waffle House fan, never was but my hubby is and was hungry so decided to be nice. Well it pays to be nice! What a delight it was to have Boe serve us. It was just him and Kevin the chef but man were they busy with to go orders as well as in store. Yet our food appeared before us in a flash and Boe did not miss a bra being pleasant to everyone as he rushed to refil stuff, clean up, take orders and serve. port Kevin was so red from the fast pace he was churning out the orders BUt I have to say he didn’t not ensure he was changing those gloves and keeping the work area clean. Kudos guys! You deserve big praises for your efforts to keep things moving nicely even in short staff especially once I noticed Boe had a limo but that didn’t stop him! Hope your managers recognize you for it!

This location will probably be the reason I stop eating Waffle House. The entire experience from the time we walked in was horrible. I felt as if I was a burden, the food was cold, and Ashley, waitress was so unfriendly and needed soap for her potty mouth! She used profanity in front of my three year old half of the time we were there complaining about her shift.

The employees at this Waffle House have been doing extraordinary wonderful job. One particularly young lady has been working over 24 hours just because of short staff. I encourage everyone to please support tip and acknowledge the hard work that many of these employees have been putting in even if service is slow. But concerning food our food and waffles were excellent Thank you so much.

My pecan waffle was delicious, but my husband received chopped onions (that he did not order) on his hash browns, underneath his chili. He was not pleased. Also, it seemed like our waitress was having an off day - not terribly enthusiastic and did not pay us much attention.

Yummy food and good service

Best waffle house ive visited n a min. Ac was out. But fans were on n the food n service was awesome. Even handled one mad customer that had actually placed his order wrongly. Waiter explained perfectly n settled down quick. Got his other order out quick too. Great job guys

Lakesha is quite rude this morning. She abruptly ended a phone order twice - correct she hung up on my husband twice!! She placed him on hold after he said he was placing a pick up order. Once she returned, she said, "go ahead with your order." As soon as he started, she said you need to come in to order and hung up the phone.Seeking to understand, he called back and asked if he understood her correctly. She said yes and hung up again.Please explain to me how you answer the phone to take an order and hang up on the customer twice when they make the attempt to do so. If you are not taking phone orders, set your automated message to say so. Do not engage the customer with the intent to place an order and abruptly hang up on the customer. That is plain rude!This particular location's level of customer service has dwindled greatly over the past several months. There is never an excuse to be so rude to loyal customers.Lakesha there are several other negative reviews about your poor customer service. I would suggest a change of approach or change of occupation if you are unhappy with your role in the company.

I’ve not eaten at this location that’s why I’m giving it the 3 stars. But it was not opened at 1a when we went to get some food. That’s the one thing Georgians can count on is Waffle House being open and they weren’t. Fail. I wouldn’t be bothered if it was mentioned in the phone greeting or the actual website. But it wasn’t. Both said they were open.
