I ordered their loaded fries with no meat. They had BBQ sauce and ranch poured over the top of the fries, with sprinkles of cheese. I don't know what kind of BBQ sauce they use but it is DISCUSTING!!!!! I've made cheese fries at home that tasted better then this. Shane's Rib Shack anywhere is ALWAYS a disappointment.
Ordered Smoked Wings and they came out traditional. I asked the young lady at the register about it and she insisted on it being smoked. When I opened the box, she damn near put her fingers on the wings to show me that the black marks, "which was pepper" was crispiness from the grill. I told her that In know how smoked wings were supposed to look and these weren't it. I politely asked for a refund and in turn she gets her manager. The manager comes out and looks up at me and realized that I wasn't the same hue as her and immediately went into telling me that their wings were made "by company policy". I told her that these were traditional wings but she insisted. But oddly enough, she comes back and says, "If you wanted your wings smoked, we actually do that without putting them in the fryer." Before I told her to please refund my money, she already started the process and didn't do anything to resolve me actually getting food. I won't visit this location again and I would highly suggest you not to either.
Highly disappointed with the portion I received for price I paid. The lemon pepper chicken strips was so small I thought they were nuggets and received only two per meal. I complained and only received one more. I've never saw Shane's serve such small chicken, sad they don't realize if the chicken is smaller portion should increase or price should decrease.
Today l ordered the half rack rib plate. The ribs were burnt and overcooked. I called to report my concern. I spoke to Hailey. She offered me 10% off my next order. So for me that would be $1.90 on a $19.00 order. There is nothing on their menu less than $1.90. They can keep the $1.90, because l won't be coming back.
I've visited four times and on the 4th visit I finally asked do you to toast the bread? Immediately the cashier says "no". Since when...did I ask. It's a,staple of Shane's Rib Shack and they have a corporate store on Jonesboro Road that is simply lazy. They did butter the bread and I purchased my sandwich. Arrived home and the bread was burned. Any thoughts on this restaurant? Please share.
I bought some of Shane's famous peach cobbler and my husband wanted lemonade. The wait was long and the peach cobbler was dry and lots of dough. It was not the flavor I have grown to love. My husband said the lemonade was extremely watered down.
Great food great service and very large eating area so don’t have to hear everyone’s conversation if you don’t want to lol. Recommended!

I will need to try another Shane’s restaurant. This restaurant has disappointed me today and in the past. There was a miscommunication in what I wanted and that’s fine that we eventually understood what I wanted. But don’t tell me that your location doesn’t toast your Texas toast as to cover up the misunderstanding. I have patronized this location too many times to know better (especially when your pictures show the Texas toast is toasted). Anyway, the pulled pork was lukewarm almost cold. I don’t know if it’s just this location or the entire restaurant chain. But seems like the service and the food has gone down. This is for the McDonough restaurant located on Jonesboro road.
One of the nicer shanes that I have been to. The young lady that brought me my food mistaken the amount of money that I gave her and went back and checked to make sure. She then brought me the rest of what was owed. Honesty says alot. Again great service and honest folks. We will be back!
