This place has its good days and bad days. Sometimes the staff are nice and quick, but more often than not, the staff are not well trained or they’re unfriendly.Food is usually good, but again, the quality can vary.I don’t mind eating here because it’s convenient for me and affordable. The trivia nights on Thursdays are also fun.
Salsa was smokey, chunky and full of flavor but too salty. Mucho enchiladas was very good. Bean, cheese, and chicken were flavorful. Beef was plain and there was hardly any enchilada sauce. I added salsa so I was good. Steak tacos were ok, low on filling. Poblano Chile was tender and delicious. Service was excellent. She took care of everything without interrupting our conversation. The place was clean and friendly.
Food was freash, hot, and service was fast. They gave our kids coloring sheets as we were seated, but when i asked about crayons, the host said they were out. Why give kids coloring sheets if they cant use them?

Service wasn’t great took forever to get a refill for my husband and food was horrible my water had oil floating in the top and food tasted almost sour and chicken tested funny like it had been reheated don’t recommend this place nor will I be returning.

Padres is one of my favorite spots. They are always consistent. I typically go there for lunch. Wait staff is very nice and helpful.Definitely a good place to catch some Mexican food in Mcdonough...
Some of the workers are extremely rude. The food is alright and it’s definitely better than some mexican restaurants i’ve had before but not the best. The cheese dip sometimes tastes funny and tastes like it’s been reheated multiple times. The beef isn’t as good as sticky cactus but the other stuff is good.
