Nice chain of pace. Enjoyed eating various vegetable options that you don't have as a choice. Nice choice of meats. Really enjoyed the pork. Only real negative was the lack of air conditioning.
Waiter was great, I never had this experience before were we cooked the food ourselves. He could have explained it a little better. After we got our drinks we didn't see him for a while, finally brought the veggies out. We cooked it. The meat came 20 mins later. The waiter never came back...I will try this at another place.
Food was delicious and we had a party of 10 that enjoyed the show.
My family and I had a great time the food was delicious, the meal was prepared right in front of us. We sat with a couple of families and enjoyed it very much. The chef was very entertaining, it's like a show performed during your meal.
I’m a committed customer to Miss Gogi in Atlanta. This location is a poor attempt at a money grab. They’ve repurposed a 90s hibachi grill to allow half the restaurant to be Hibachi and the other half to be Miss Gogi Korean BBQ, so aesthetically it’s a miss. The sauces provided are not the standard K-BBQ salute, instead the hibachi sauces have been repurposed. Poorly ventilated hot grills led to a meal enjoyed around 80 degrees. Meats not marinated and various other concerns. The good news is that this is somehow affiliated with the Miss Gogi location from Atlanta, and management will undoubtedly make necessary changes in order to continue delivering the sameservice that so many Atlantan’s have come to enjoy.
Let me start by saying this is probably the worst kbbq spot i have ever been to. Makes Iron Age look like a 5 star steakhouse. The service was good, friendly staff. No wait time for me that day. The brisket was tough and they had about 8 options only on the menu. The “new york steak” you only get one of and is not very good. I think the only thing i did enjoy was the spicy pork belly and the salad. Everything was just bad. Side dishes were minimal and very disappointing. I think what upset me the most was that they charged me 2.50 for tap water. I think this is legit the first place i have ever been to that charged me for tap water. I was shocked. They also added a 15 percent gratuity to the bill, but it was just me, an additional 5 dollar which i was going to tip anyways so i did not care much for that. But 2.50 for tap water, what kind of scam is that? I think the service and the pork belly is the only thing that saved this place from 1 star. I will not be returning. At that price point you can get MUCH better options the next street over at KPOP.Whoever owns miss gogi is a greedy person. 2.50 for tap water? Never seen before not even at fogo de chao they charge for tap water. Ridiculous.
Ambience of the place is great as well as the food. Would have been a full 5 stars if I would have been given the spicy ramen I ordered 4 times in a row. After close to 40 mins I gave up and paid the check to leave.
The Korean food here isn't bad for the Southside it's one of the better ones I've been to. It's nothing like eating in the Northside but it's still had good options.
Great dinner. Quiet place. On the pricy side but worth it for an every now and then type of meal. Our server answered any questions we had about our meal and was very helpful.
Visited for the first time. Un-impressed as the tables were dirty, everything felt unkempt and sticky. We've been to several Korean BBQ, and this was easily the worst. Food was OK, but nothing great. Soy Sauce bottles were disgusting (wish I'd taken a photo) Service was lacking and we had a difficult time getting refills on drinks, or any additional food items. Will never eat at Miss Gogi in McDonough again, nor will we recommend to anyone.
