I didn’t want to go here because of past experiences but we were really hungry and busy. Drove up to the line probably 7 cars deep. The line moved quickly, the people were kind and quick, they heard me the first time, got the order right, were very pleasant and the food was hot and fresh. People only seem to drop negativity so I’d like to give the credit where it’s due. My experience couldn’t have been better. Good job all of you
I ordered through drive-thru and when I got my food, the fries were stale. So, I went inside to get fresh fries and no one would acknowledge me. The employee that was working drive-thru walked passed me and didn't say a word. I finally had to yell out several times, "excuse me!" After waiting on fries to cook, I was not given the hot fries. I was given fries that were in the fry warmer. The employee had not dumped the hot fries over yet. I'm mad at myself for allowing that to happen to me.I refuse to give my money to poor service and unsatisfactory food! I WILL NOT be a customer of that McDonald's (hwy. 81) anymore!
Despite this being the closest McDonald's to me, I have stopped in fewer than 20 times over the past 15 to 20 years. The reason is simple. Visits to this location have rarely been anything more than a disaster. On 3/29/22 I made the mistake of placing an online order at this location. While it wasn't a small order, it shouldn't take 35 minutes to produce 8 burgers and 1 large fry. The excuse I received was that at the 5 PM shift change, everyone just left and no one left knew about my order. I asked one of the employees who the franchise owner was. She replied that it was owned by Golden Partners. Well Golden Partners, in my honest opinion, McDonald's needs to release you from the franchise agreement and put someone else into that location.
Good experience. Food was hot & quick. Milkshake was thick and good. No complaints. Would be 5 stars except fries were a little too small and crunchy.
If I could rate 0 stars I would. Terrible, terrible attitude from lady working the front, Manager? No name tag. Bathroom and dining area was as nasty as I've ever seen. We ordered at Kiosk and grabbed number, instead of walking food over to us, she stood at register and yelled for us to come get it. We ask for BBq sauce, which we ordered and got an eye roll. Avoid this dumpster fire if at all possible.
Well after sitting in the drive through about 10 minutes, I thought I would have fresh cooked chicken for my chicken sandwich. Instead I had re- dropped chicken and French fries both burned chicken was tough from being re- dropped. I literally sat 10 mins, just to get that nasty food.
It saddens me to have to leave this review.... who am I kidding, no it doesn't! Today 2-5-22 at approximately 1 p.m. will be the last day I go to another McDonald's unless they make some major changes for the better or I'm stranded on a desert with no food or water and they are the only place around. My experience today at the Lake Dow location in McDonough, Ga was absolutely horrible!!! I began placing my order here when I was cutoff in a nice/nasty rude tone with "Will you repeat that please?" I repeated my order and was asked to drive around. When I got to the first window I was given my total after my order was confirmed. When I repeated the amount for confirmation, I was confronted with a loud attitude "No it's $20.99". I proceeded to pay and then drove to window number 2. The window opens and the employee begins handing me food with no greeting, no order confirmation just a here take this and leave now type of attitude. I took the food and asked for more napkins and the employee says "What" and looks as if they are about to turn into the Hulk. I repeated myself and they grabbed a few napkins and handed them to me as if I stank. Before pulling off my wife noticed that we had not been given the apple juices that were supposed to come with the kids meals that we ordered. I notified the employee and she responded in a loud annoyed manner with "Apple juices?". I responded with yes they were supposed to come with our meal. She grabbed 2 apple juices handed them to me almost as if she was tossing them, rolls her eyes, and slams the window shut. Guess what... we got home only to find out that the apple juices didn't even have straws. If you don't like your job find somewhere else to work, don't take it out on the customer. Ronald McDonald may need to come out of retirement and take his business back because it's being run in the ground by people who obviously don't care anything about customer satisfaction.
I guess one of the employees gave me their food? Really??? An employee took a bite of my McChicken and decided to give it to me.
Somedays are better then others. This location is always full and some days under staffed. Some days they have respectful staff taking the order some day they just have rude staff, there is this one staff member younger( caucasian ) ( unfortunately I don’t know her name and I don’t mean this negative by any means ) female that is always at the second window and she is so nice and throughout all Covid she really has shown what true kindness is.
This place is awful! I don't even write reviews because this location needs it! I understand that they are understaff but I could see why the employees there today were very rude and didn't even acknowledge me and looked right at me no one said ma'am we will be with you in a minute. I waited patiently at least for someone to say something I want in a rush or anything but for the employees to look right at me and no one say anything they just keep taking the orders for the drive thru!!! Awful customer service I wish I could give it zero stars all a lady wanted was a burger and fries!
