I visited this place because I’ve was craving NY pizza. The customer service was terrible. The food handlers were completely unsanitary. I watched the food handler make pizza with his bare hands, stop to wait on a cash paying customer. The food handler then counted the money and when done went back to making pizza. He never washed his hands.
Love Greek salad however last couple times the house dressing gas been very vinegar and bland. Also ordered a large salad for $10. It wasn't enough for my wife and I unfortunately, just a few things I felt needed to be addressed. Customer service is great!
Oh my god their pizza is terrible and the chicken bites I paid $5.40 for must be a joke because what they gave me was just a few tiny pieces of store bought frozen chicken that was cold and mushy on some sides. Disgusting! I had to contact Seamless to request a refund because the food was so nasty. The pizza was so tiny for it to be a medium and coming from a place called "NEW YORK STYLE" I can't help but laugh because they are the smallest most pitiful slices of pizza I have ever saw not to mention how flavorless they are. ALL of the food I ordered and the drink went in the trash. I wouldn't even feed it to my dogs. I will never try a new pizza place again, I should have known to stick with the I Love NY Pizza place here in Locust Grove because they actually know how to make good food and give you portions that don't make you feel like you are getting ripped off!*** I realized after I wrote the above that the fruit punch I ordered for my daughter was NOT fruit punch! They sent a soda instead!!! One that was going flat even. We do not give our children soda so I am very annoyed that they sent that instead of the fruit punch I ordered! ***
I just bought 2 pizza’s, ToGo. It has to be the worst pizza. Both pizzas had no sauce. It was so dry. After spending $50, it is suppose to be better than frozen pizza. I will not return to Johnnys Pizza on Old Jackson Rd.
This review comes from a person born and raised in Brooklyn New York who has been eating NYC pizza ? all my life. While the ingredients were fresh this is far from a "New York style" pizza! You can fool a southern persons tongue but not the New Yorker. If you didn't travel to NYC and learn from the Italians how to make an authentic pie then the New York name should not be a part of your name.New York pizza: Large pie with big slices and here's another hint. NY pizza uses 00 Italian semolina flour....not all purpose flour.Spent $31 on a 16 inch small pie and did not get $31 worth of toppings....could barely find any ground beef on the pie. Dont cheat your customers! Then I sat in curbside pickup for almost 30 minutes passed the time when my order should have been ready....had to call the manager and was told that my pie had been ready for a while but they mixed up the order and didn't know that it was curbside pickup.Owner/manager: too many children working in your restaurant and spending their time playing. Please hire some mature adults. And please require your staff and customers to wear face masks.....the virus is still circulating! Will never return!
The stuffed shells were really good but could have used more meat. Ordered the Greek salad and the thing was huge and so good! 2nd time eating in and didn't disappoint either time.
Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich sub for home and this is what they had given me. Drove all the way back for a refund. This was my first time visiting and will certainly be my last
Johnny's is very delicious and is a family favorite for us.Food is always exceptionally delicious, and staff is always friendly.
This is NOT the quality of other Johnny's Pizza locations! Do NOT Recommend. I order a large Mediterranean salad from multiple other locations every week while on the road working. This location brought out a salad HALF as large as every other location and wanted to charge the same price. Have been here several other times with friends. The owners are smug and poor customer service reps
Very disappointed- we ordered two pizzas a Margherita pizza for us and a pineapple pizza for the kids - firstly the kids pizza was hot and not too bad - the margherita pizza @ $20 was burnt at the bottom and slightly warm - go figure ! it had globs of sauce and hardly any mozzarella cheese - “fresh basil”was not fresh by any means, we are accustomed to good pizza at this price point. The dough had no flavor and was actually slightly bitter, overall the quality was poor, a total waste of money.
