The Food was Delicious. We didn't have to wait long. Plus they have Beautiful waitresses that are very nice. They also have big screen TV's so you can watch the game too. The bathrooms were really clean. They have paper heavy duty Bags to carry your food in for your leftovers or carryout. On Mother's Day they gave 10 free boneless chicken any flavor for the mothers. I thought that was cool. I be back soon!
We had a waitress (Kay) who didn’t care much about her tables. The food was ready on the window for like 5 minutes, even the cooker’s sere ringing the bell and she was more about being on her phone and talking to her other waitresses. Our food finally got delivered (10min later!!) my husband order a beer and never got asked for a refills. Finally when we requested the ticket she brought it and we waited another (10 min!) this time I couldn’t wait any longer and went to another waitress to tell her to cash me out because my waitress it’s too busy on the phone. It wasn’t even busy at all!!! The food was great! But I can see management it’s not there to supervised or go around the tables. Oh well, we won’t go back!
We arrived around lunch time. Lorene was so sweet. Their draft was down, so we got Blue Moon bottles. Ordered pretzels for app and lunch at the same time. Should have spaced it out. They arrived at the table within 5 minutes of each other. BUT- It is now one of my favorite places to go. I asked if I could take my beer to the outdoor table/ patio area to have a cig. (Not a big deal for non smokers) but a big deal for smokers that want to relax and enjoy their drink. She not only said yes, she had our food delivered from that point on. We wound up dining and drinking outside alone all of lunch. She was appropriately present and so sweet the whole time! Not annoying, just enough. Outside was high 60s for the temp. I couldn't have asked for a better lunch date with my husband. And my kids loved the leftovers when we got home!
WORST HOOTERS EXPERIENCE! I WOULD LOVE TO GIVE A ZERO STAR RATING. We arrived at restaurant and waited up front to be seated with no one waiting for 15min. WAITRESSES after being seated sat two other couples, served them next to us before my family who was sat first. The two other couples received drinks and ordered. For 38 minutes total no one ever came to the table. Restaurant was only at half capacity. Myself and colleagues normally visit this location twice a week for lunch. None of my employees will ever visit this location again. When I was leaving the restaurant the waitress that was suppose to be our waitress for this section who waited on the other couples first I mentioned to her we were leaving and why she responded with OK. I asked to speak to her manager who I could see behind the bar watching us leave and the waitress responded with she isn’t available tonight. The manager saw the entire situation and did nothing about it. Here is the timer I set at the restaurant waiting to be served. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION.
This place is awful. We ordered wings and they brought them back reversed I ordered hot and the wife ordered honey chipotle. They took them back washed off the sauce and tried to serve them back to us. I said please take them back and cancel my order. I want to see the manager. The “manager” came over and refused to take anything off our bill. Only said that he would remake the wings again. I replied you atpre known for your wings and I shouldn’t expect 3 times to get them right. Especially after u tried to wash wings and reserve them. He still said that he would make the wings over again but we would still have to pay for them. 3 times to make wings at a wing place(not a restaurant) give me all my money back. They refused. Never go here(usually I would say dine) worst place ever. Should close it down!
Been over a week and still no reply. I guess they could give a crap, just like their employees. Just goes to show they don't care about customer service. Will be posting again on yelp and others. Nothing special. Restaurant looking old. Typical food.Edit: Now that I read this, I need to clarify. That sounded poorly. This Hooters is good. The food is great, which I meant as typical. The atmosphere is standard Hooters, but could use an update, as it looks the same it has for years. I meant no disrespect and will def keep visiting this Hooters, just wish it could be updated a little and livened up and get the servers HAPPY!
At 1st my Daytona beach wings and shrimp choice did not pan out the way I wanted it too… ?But when I asked them to try again and give me just plain wings. ?I scored big time! Teon came through with the recooked fresh wings! At this time I was sitting at the bar where Kalia made me 3 different drinks 1st(Jager & Pepsi) it was evenly proportion. 2nd (Legendary Rita) again she made it well! And 3rd drink (the “Utopia”) her specialty drink!I will return as a new local customer! Thank so much to the general manager Deshaun (a.k.a peanut) as well for making things so easy to fix or solve if any issues!
