We were thoroughly impressed by Brandon’s customer service and friendliness. We have been coming here for the past year and the customer has always been lackluster and a lot of the staff barely make eye contact or articulate themselves loud enough to be heard. But Brandon and the young lady who help make our plates (can’t remember her name) we’re both personable, polite, professional and knowledgeable.
Let me start this review by saying the staff was super nice and extremely friendly. This was our first time here and I loved the concept, the chipotle concept is tried and true and it works. The variety was awesome and that’s a plus. The issue is the griddle. It needs to be cleaned. From the looks and taste of the food that came off of it, it hasn’t been cleaned enough. Having a seasoned griddle is one thing but when the griddle is leaving it’s burnt taste on the items cooked on it, it’s a past due cleaning.I actually saw how they scraped the burnt off the griddle and your staff needs better training.Please take this review as constructive criticism because I love the concept and the ability to succeed is there!
Come here all the time get the same thing 3 chicken egg rolls m with chipotle sauce … order over the phone per usual and told the young man make sure they were chicken because last time the slid a vegetable egg roll in my bag. This time I’m eating on egg roll #2 and there is a king piece of hair in side mixed in with all the vegetables in my egg roll . Idk if I ever will come here again .. after 4 years
My girl and I was pleasantly surprised at the overall deliciousness of the food quality at Gezzo's. We both ordered a bowl, she ordered a veggie bowl and I ordered the meatarian bowl and both were more than fulfilling. All of the meats (chicken, steak, & beef) had hella flavor/seasoning as did her veggies. It's definitely a laid back, chill and clean vibe if you choose to dine in. We will most certainly be back!! Keep it up.
Will definitely be coming back!Excellent variety with vegetarian options as well. Great price and great seating and soft drinks!Only bad thing was a bit of a longer wait and the meats were a touch salty but nothing too distracting from the overall fantastic meal I had here.
My family LOVES Gezzo's! We go almost every Tuesday because kids eat free. :) It's also the best weekend spot if you're shopping on Jonesboro Rd. and want to grab a quick bite. We love every thing we've ever tried. It's literally my kids favorite restaurant. The staff is top notch. They are always so kind and personable to us. 5 stars for real!
Just left the place and it was absolutely dirty and bordering on filthy. The food station has dried food EVERYWHERE. the kitchen floor was covered in food and cardboard boxes we stacked all around. It was disappointing. They had way too many workers for the entire restaurant to be that nasty. The sauce station was dirty and 80 percent empty. I had to ask for them to fill the salsa station up.There were a lot of young people working there and they seemed to be lacking training and leadership. The man who appeared to be the LEAD was obvious to the messy nasty kitchen area.Please do better before the health department makes a visit and shut this place down.
This location always gives great service and tasty food! The crews here are friendly. Thanks for taking care of your customers. They keep the tables cleaned for the next guests. We always enjoy popping into the Gezzos off Jonesboro for a monster burrito!
Over all I liked it. It is a quick way to get a Mexican food fix. They make it up to order while you watch. The food is better than the very casual atmosphere, but it would be perfect for take out.
I don’t understand the reviews for this establishment. I ordered a vegetarian quesadilla and it was very flavorless. My daughter had a kids nacho. They barely put any queso cheese on her chips, when I say barely, I mean barely. When I asked for more they notified me it would be extra. The other female who was in charge of adding additional toppings had such a nasty attitude and to top it all off the food was overpriced for the quality. I don’t ever see me going back, so many better food choices in McDonough with better service.
