Very delicious sub sandwiches at this Firehouse Subs McDonough location. We took exit 218 while visiting Atlanta Speedway to have our lunch. This place is absolutely amazing, Their subs are really FULLY INVOLVED. Very good portion of meat and cheese, Staff at this location was very welcoming. Clean and quiet restaurant with Firefighter decor. Definitely recommend to all people out there for their Hot Subs.
After receiving my order , I left to go home. I opened my sandwich. It was just bread and lettuce. They didn’t put any meat on my Hook and Ladder sandwich. Not sure if it was a mistake or intentional. I went back in and they prepared me another sandwich.
I love it here everyone is friendly. I like to come here before I go to work. Service is quick and food is good!!!!
Order The Engineer and was made incorrectly by staff. I live over 30mins away from store. This was Xmas Eve and Store manager says policy from owner to bring sandwich back to have re-made. With Covid/Omicron and living 30mins away asked could I come back when back in the area and just replace. Poor store manager policy at this location. Most of the time when in the area I stop here. So disappointed they not taking ownership of staff making sandwiches wrong. I would spend more in gas to take another hour their and back. Check your sandwich if taking out. I will be making a BBB complaint also.
So I ordered online And showed up 5 mins after the estimated ready time and my food was not ready which I was not upset with. What upset me was while I was waiting one of the two young ladies behind the counter was talking real crazy about customers, potential customers, and their orders. My sandwich was supposed to have bacon on it and heard the girl say “ we ain’t got no bacon, so you not getting bacon and I’m not making a phone call either “ I’m sitting right in your face ma’am, SUPER RUDE ! I never got my bacon THAT I PAID FOR either. I understand in the current climate that there is lack of staff and most are severely under paid, but if you choose to come to work try and keep it professional. Also they were purposely sending phone calls to the answering machine or whatever.

I forgot how much I loved Firehouse subs. Their Philly cheesesteak with that house sauce is the most divine thing. The philly steak and cheese was so well seasoned, so perfectly made. The red sauce is called Dátil Pepper Hot Sauce . It’s a perfect blend of spicy and sweet. Honestly, you can put that sauce on anything. The wait wasn’t long either. Shortly after paying my food was ready for pickup: I’m ready to go back for lunch ?
I ordered a small corned beef sandwich. It had the smallest piece of corned beef I’ve ever seen. It was missing the spicy mustard I ordered with it. I ordered a total of 3 sandwiches and each was supposed to have extra pickles. We ended up with no pickles at all. Asked for Mayo on one sandwich and it was like a miracle whip… probably won’t order here again.
This is allegedly a New York Steamer...I paid $12+ for this sandwich and it is by far the thinnest sandwich I've ever purchased. It had no corned beef, only pastrami...So disappointed about this overpriced Mayo sandwich...and NO PICKLE.. I'll stick to JERSEY Mike's!
