5 stars from the time I walked in to me throwing my fork away. I’ve been wanting to give them a try and I’m so glad I did. The employees were pleasant and I was greeted as soon as I came in. The establishment was being cleaned while I was there and was nice and tidy, but most importantly the food was yummy! I I got the veggie plate; Mac n cheese, twice baked potatoes, Mexican street corn, and a roll with the jalapeño cucumber lemonade. The corn = a fiesta, the potatoes (with a lil ranch and their ranch is amazing!) scrumptious, the roll was an average dinner roll but I love my carbs ????, and the Mac n cheese was super cheesy! The flavors all meshed really well together. One lil complaint, the mac n cheese was a little over cooked which made it a tad mushy. Of course I had to try the chicken, so I ate the wing offa babe’s 1/2 chicken (his sides were Mac n cheese and fries), and I won’t make the mistake of passing on the chicken the next time. All the food was seasoned well and the portion sizes were generous. I always love having a lil midnight snack left for later ???? $28/2 ppl: not bad at all. I’ll definitely be back!
This is the kid's meal with 2 chicken legs and Mexican Street Corn. The corn was a little spicy. An overall good meal. I will go back.
I would like to give it more stars but the service was really bad one mother's Day. I decided to order food for pickup and when I got there it was very chaotic with no clear direction on where to go to pick up my order. Eventually I announced I was there and they proceeded to putting my order together. My tea that I ordered in a gallon was pretty light so I had them redo it after seeing a previous customers gallon sweet tea. The food was on point but the service wasn't there nearly up to par.
Our job gave us catering from Cowboy Chicken; (to me) the food was good. My box meal had white meat chicken, twice baked potaters, green beans and a dinner roll. Cowboy Chicken is definitely a restaurant I plan on ordering food for my family. The green beans were crunchy, but that’s really the healthy way to cook your vegetables. The twice baked potaters are extremely good; make you want to overeat.Update: I went and ordered meals for my husband and I. They might as well say 1 piece of chicken, because the wing is overcooked (maybe they should cover the wings about the last 10mins of cooking). The “Ranchero Beans” I will never order again. The Roasted Broccoli; cooked like their Green Beans. The Cobbler was good.I’ve only seen legs this small on Cornish Hens, so…I’m not sure if my husband’s order was a Cornish hen. His meal, (Dark meat Chicken, Baked Sweet Potato, and fried Okra); my husband said his food was good, (I quote) “I have no complaints!”
We have stopped here before as we travel from FL to TN. The service has never been amazing, but today was the worst. The young guy running the register never made eye contact, greeted, smiled, or said thank you. He was not fast at this position either. He also didn’t take our order correctly. For that, I wouldn’t have written a review. But I will take time to write since I can also add that the restrooms were quite unclean and that we had a 22 minute wait to get our food. We were there at 1:30. Not a very busy time. The restroom smelled and the floor was disgusting. No paper towels either. So, we can now find another food destination As we travel along this way. Plus, the traffic was horrible! It took us 20 minutes to get back on I-75. I know that wasn’t their fault. But all combined equals finding a different place.
Interesting concept, but not a good experience. Ordered the 3 piece dark with 2 sides. 2 legs and what I think was a thigh. It was hard, dry and literally no meat, only hard skin. My wife liked hers. Recommend you look at your order before walking out.
Food was tasty, chicken on the small side. Combo plater with a drink was $17. Pulled pork was good. Mexican corn and broccoli were really good.
2 bites of food for $14. The fries were cold and bbq sauce wasn’t in the box. The wait was 12 minutes to order and 20 minutes to get the food. Won’t be back.
We showed up 2 hours before closing and they are out of most of what we wanted to order. I had to order three different items before I was told “we have that”. As we are waiting on our to-go order, saw three others leave for the same reason….don’t have what they want to order. This is terrible and after this visit will not be back. No other restaurant around the area has this problem.
Best place in town for lunch. I found it a couple weeks ago and now I go in almost every day for the half chicken (dark meat) which is so much food for such a good price. Also, the rewards system is automatic on the website and really well implemented. The staff is the best around!
