The manager berated me because I do not eat pork and there was pork on my tacos. She said I’m a lyar and was in my face while I was in my seat. If you are looking for a restaurant that cares for their customers this is not the place to be. I would give 0 stars if possible nobody attempted to accommodate, clearly the customer is always wrong here.
My son wanted Mexican today for lunch so I suggested Castillo Real.Service was super fast and the food was hot and fresh!! We ordered off of the lunch menu, but it was so much for us to eat we had to get a carry out box!! This is a family owned establishment that truly cares abut their guest!!See you again soon ❤️
Called this place of business tonight and asked if they had a wait and approximately how long the wait would be. We were told by “the manager” it was approximately 5 min. We arrived at restaurant within 8 minutes or less and about 50 people were waiting outside. When we approached the hostess it was over an hour wait to be seated! A manager lied about the wait time ( not sure why he felt the need to lie) but I wouldn’t do any kind of business with a place that has the management being dishonest to customers. If they are dishonest with how long the wait time is, what else are they dishonest about. SHAME ON YOU Castillo Real Mexican Restaurant!! Shame on you!!
My husband and I just ate here for the first time. The service and food was excellent. Fabi was excellent, from his food recommendations to him making a margarita for us. I highly recommend this place. Hopefully you’ll get Fabi as you server.
As soon as our food was delivered the server asked if we'd like to take care of our bill because he was going on his break. Being a server myself I considered this pushy and rushed. He asked this immediately after he brought the food. Then after paying he offered boxes, as if to say he would not be returning for any further service. There was 5 including myself and family. Thankfully about 45 minutes later someone offered us refills, a kinder and more professional man. I think he possibly was the manager. We were visiting family there, so we were very hungry from a long trip, and the food was not really impressive. We will not be going back.
We love this place and the food and people are great. Unfortunately, the restaurant has started charging crazy prices for things that were once consider complimentary. Example: $1.00 for a to go drink when the cost at dinner was $2.98. No refill provided during dinner. Then $1.50 for a 2oz cup side of margarita sauce. It understandable there is a supply chain issue however we chose the restaurant for our once a week dinner. This is normally a treat however our business will be taken elsewhere. Yes, we asked the manager and was told it would be a dollar EACH for a to go soda. So sad. We will miss the people that we see each time we visit.
My husband and I ate there yesterday and I just wanna start off by saying that Jordan was the best server we ever had. We will definitely be continuing our business here just for him!
Ordered dinner from them tonight and I am extremely disappointed.I ordered the tiajuana burrito and received no guacamole or sour cream and the steak was under cooked and I was unable to eat this meal. I will say the delivery through doordash was quick.
i love castillo every one is nice and we are a family here. The food is great and jose , kiki, leidy , jordan , jenny , rianna , fabi , and sheena is best , well everyone is cool and nice ms cindy and von are best mangers ??♀️????? ?(edited by cindy lol )
Always have great food and great service when I come here! My favorite Mexican restaurant in Henry county!!
