I used the Applebee's website, not the app, to place a to-go order. It was my first time ordering online at Applebee's, but kinda just wish I had called to make my order instead. Made me create an account instead of being able to checkout as 'guest' like I wanted to. After checkout, the website gave me an estimated time to pick up my food that seemed reasonable. I arrived at the time it said and when I got there parking was pretty full. Didn't see anything telling me where to go for pick-up orders, turns out you use a door on the side of the building. Had to wait in a small line before a staff member went to the back to grab my food and drink. Ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich w/ fries. It was pretty good, no complaints about the food.
We had a wonderful waitress for our party of 6. All our food dishes were delicious, from the broccoli chicken Alfredo, Oriental chicken salad, chicken frijita wrap, & more. It was after church lunch & we were seated pretty quickie.... Nice ?The place was clean. Definitely an enjoyable time. ?

It's cold in there sometimes. Bring a jacket. The food is good. It's not too crowded. It's not too busy. There's adequate parking. The service is GREAT. The prices are good. They have regular specials. Download the app. Ask about BURGER NIGHT on Mondays after 4PM.Tina, the main bartender, is the ABSOLUTE BEST!
Rude & dismissive. They brought out cold food and remade it with a bite mark in it. The bar has no communication skills. Kesha has the vocabulary of a third grader not sure how she has a management position. There’s no direction in this establishment. I would give zero stars if I could. I waited 1 hour for a drink for them to tell me they’re out of pina colada .
We understand staffing is low and have waiting in the past because the food is usually very good. But today we walked in and no host at the front. We waited with another group of 4 and asked how long they have been waiting. She said about 30 minutes because they were in the middle of a shift change. They had told her they were clearing off tables. Waiting another 10 minutes. During that time another group of 5 stood outside the bar area. When someone did come she started to take their information first. I told her that we had been here first and we had 2. She didn’t ask for a name. She then went back in the back and didn’t come back for a few minutes. She seated the group of four. Other groups came in. She then said it would be 30-35 minutes to them. I asked her how long for us and she 30-35 minutes. When I reminded her we had already been there for 10-15 minutes she said it’s still 30-35 minutes because they were going through a shift change. Which we knew wasn’t true because that was what they had told the group before us 35-40 minutes ago. Just tell the truth!!!! When we said we were leaving and wouldn’t be back she said that’s fine. No apology!!! Not the best way to do business!!
Half the reviews you see on here are just impatient and rude people that I’ve seen personally. I’m a regular to apple bees going almost every other day for a quick bite or a drink at the bar. I’ve watched people come in and demand a table for 4 or 8 after being told that their is a 20-40 min wait. I get that you’re hungry and so are the other people waiting on the list. The customers always right mentally really have some of you people acting rude. The only issue I have with the place is the that it attracts. One lady complained about not bringing a mask and didn’t want to be sat by anyone. It’s a restaurant lady…. Need I explain more?
I wish I could give zero stars.We arrived at 6:40 and were told it would be about 25 minutes for a table. At 7:30 the manager walked up and said hey your wait time is about to go up because we are so slammed. (The place was half empty, I assume the real issue is they are understaffed). He said how long have you been waiting, I said almost an hour, so he said okay no problem I'll seat you now. And then we sat at a table for 30 minutes and gave up, they never even had taken our drink order. We watched as 2 tables are served food and then they had to wait for 10 minutes to get silverware to eat with. Absolute joke.
I was leery because of recent reviews, but this is where my elderly dad wanted to eat, so we did, and I was pleasantly thrilled. Although the restaurant was understaffed, those who were working were amazing. Our server was Tatiana. I think that she was also the bartender and manager, I think. Anyway, she was great, on point, and extremely kind and attentive. There were 8 of us, and she got all the orders right, and we never had to ask for drink refills, as they were brought to the table before needed. Oh, and the food was really good, too. Although I was hesitant, I was extremely pleased and will not hesitate to return. Good job McDonough Applebees!
Car side to go is good. Order pick up can do with a touch up when it comes to order pick up. There is usually a wait as there is no one stationed at the counter. Besides that the food is great!
