Great 1st impression. Was visiting the area. Ordered 2 plates of brown stew chicken. As a first visit it was good overall. The food was good. The service was pleasant and all the items on the menu were available. I appreciated that they had a few vegetarian options. Oh, I highly recommend their house made ginger beer. So refreshing and a nice kick to it! All in all, No stereotypical rude service or running out of food here lol. I would visit again.
I had never had West Indian food until I tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago. Honestly, I’m angry that I’ve missed out on such delicious flavors all of my life!!! Addiktive is literally the most spotless restaurant I’ve ever been to and the customer service is world-class as well. On our first visit, the proprietor took the time to go over the menu options with us and how to order. On our second visit, he greeted us with a huge grin knowing he had us hooked. Between my partner and I, we have had the oxtails, curry chicken, curry goat, and jerk chicken. Each meat item comes with the most delicious gravy to smother your rice in. The sides we’ve had so far were the cabbage and curry chickpeas. We also had fried plantains. Yum! Each meal has been a 10/10. Do yourself a favor and give these wonderful folks your business. I promise this restaurant will go to the top of your list.
Saying this is the best Caribbean restaurant in the area would not be generous enough for this establishment. The fact of the matter is, this is the BEST restaurant in the area PERIOD! The food is delicious and fresh, the establishment is immaculate, and the service is second to none. The staff are friendly and patient. They took the time to educate us on the various options, taking our preferences into account and making recommendations based on them. Do yourself a favor and make this your first and only stop when you're craving a truly Addiktive experience.
Love this restaurant. Food taste good and clean. I had the escovitch snapper, chicken pasta, bake and salt fish. Good customer service too.
I tried this spot based on a recommendation from the girl who does my hair & a few of her peers saying how good & flavorful the food is. They didn’t disappoint. I did recommend to the owner to have his staff make suggestions, especially since this was my first time. He was very receptive to feedback. I also didn’t know fried fish was the whole fish, which he explained this is the fish you’ll get when visiting Caribbean restaurants. They made the fish over, the way I’m used to without any issues. The food was so good, I went back the next day. I’m not sure about the low reviews, all I can speak to is my experience. The food was definitely flavorful & delicious!
Me and my wife went to the restaurant for the first time on Saturday and the best I can say is that the place is amazing. The customer service was friendly and kosher. The food is incredible. I was blessed to sample the Rasta pasta. I immediately ordered a plate of it. The veggies are seasoned and cooked to perfection. This is definitely my new go-to spot for authentic Jamaican food. I would advise any and everyone to try this place out!!!!
The food was flavorful. I order the brown steed chicken, cabbage, spinach butternut squash, jerk pork and spicy beef Patty. Let’s start with the beef patty it was absolutely delicious. The jerk pork was outstanding so full of flavor and not overly spicy, just the right kick. The brown stewed chicken was cooked just right lacked in the flavor department compared to the other foods yet still tasty. I didn’t really like mistakenly chewing bones due to the way the chicken was chopped (lost a star for that.) and lastly I love the vegetable options the were delicious. I definitely will order and probably just not the stewed chicken.
My husband & I have been visiting this neighborhood gem for over a year. The environment is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the food is tasty. We frequent this establishment so often that they know our orders before we even state the.We love the infusion of Guyanese, Jamaican. And other island favorites.The Rasta Pasta is absolutely delicious!
We travel over 40 miles to purchase / dine here. The establishment is clean, the staff is personable and friendly.We enjoy eating the food just as much the next day. Thank you for all that you do.Dining with ADDIKTIVE is a pleasure!
I love supporting black owned businesses but for LUNCH I paid almost $80 for 3 meals and it just wasn't enough food for that price. I know, I know it COVID-19 so everything is higher than usual. I work hard just like the next man so I will not give my hard earned money away again.
