Great service and great food.
The atmosphere. I'm a creative and the artistry here has a jazzy, warm cozy feel. Great food and on Sundays around noon you'll experience a NEW atmosphere; come and see.
This place was a lifesaver on the trip back from Atlanta to Tampa. There are not many vegan options on that route, and even fewer breakfast options.A Cup of Comfort only has two vegan options on the menu, but luckily, they are amazing. We had the tofu scramble and it was one of the best scrambles I've ever had, seasoned to perfection. The potatoes, too. Adding ketchup to them would have been an insult they were so perfectly delectable. Not only that, but for a small diner that could easily have been a rundown run-of-the-mill dilapidated mom and pop, you could see the care and attention to detail coming through. This is obviously a labor of love and the place was surprisingly clean, the food well presented, the service friendly and upbeat (even at 7am), and the meal prompt and delicious. This is a must do breakfast stop for vegan travelers, and there are ample omnivore options as well.2 scrambles, coffee, and orange juice was reasonable priced at about $40, including tip.Highly recommend!
Food was flavorful and freshly made. I loved my dulce de lech french toast. Highlight of the breakfast. Star lost for missing component in my order and lobster was a little too salty. The french toast bagel sandwich couldve been less syrupy. Service slow but not to the point it makes you hangry. Overall I do recommend. I think it's black owned if you're one of those people that look to support black owned businesses.
If you all are passing through McDonough, GA and need a Great (not good) GREAT brunch spot, check out A Cup of Comfort. They have soulful music, wonderful ambience and spectacular food at a very reasonable price.Of course it is packed on the weekends so the waitress said you would have to get there when they open on Saturday or Sunday.Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the slowest of course. It's worth the trip though.(Recommend: Tres Leche Caramel French Toast! So Sweet you don’t need no syrup!!!)
Service was excellent, food was great, glad to hear they are expanding for even more seating! Will be back, the breakfast baked potato was great!
Finally a place where i wasn't underwhelmed. I was extremely satisfied with the service. Ms.T and the breakfast bistro ladies were amazing. Food on point. Sorry didnt get pictures of the Lamb Chops, Salmon patties or French toast. You will not be disappointed.
My daughter and I had a great experience at breakfast bistro. I have four stars because of the long wait. The wait was a little longer than expected, but the food was awesome. There was a DJ that played music, that was nice. Our waitress Chey was great as well. Will definitely be back.
Heavenly.... That's how I would describe the food. My husband and I went early and were the only ones in the restaurant. We were greeted and sat down promptly. Orders placed and food was ready shortly. Everything was cooked to perfection. Good needed no extra seasoning or anything. I danced and hummed through my entire meal. I had the shrimp and grits with toast and roasted potatoes.... Every bite was melt in your mouth delicious. My husband had the French toast, scrambled eggs, and sausage which he also enjoyed. Portion size was excellent. Mimosa was awesome. I wish I could give 10 stars. Will be visiting again!!!
An indeed comfortable experience all around, we enjoyed the ensemble as it really does give off that genuine and sweet vibe. The food was immaculate from top to bottom. I had the plant-based breakfast which was definitely amazing. Everything was perfect from top to bottom. The entire staff has my praise.
