So many people are talking about a person who was in a wreck. Cook loudly saying I have to go. Always wanting me to stay and and I can't. I gots to go is all I keep hearing. While the other cook is leaned over the counter talking to a female. I just want some hot food.

I found out after I ate my meal that their card reader wasn’t working. I was told I would face the police if I didn’t have cash. I have a lot of money and I have a debit card, Apple Pay, PayPal, cashapp, Venmo, but I was being held hostage by a waitress tonight. She took my drink order and then served my food before the waters. I don’t come to Waffle House for customer service… but I expect to leave…The waitress confirmed it’s not my card that was the problem, it’s the card reader, very confidently, but would not allow me to leave without paying cash. Had I not brought my wife, we wouldn’t have been able to go down the road to get cash. I don’t know who, but I’d like to talk to someone just to correct this. A person that can’t understand a situation like the one I was in shouldn’t be allowed to handle money:Update: Was asked to file complaint on the Waffle House website. Service was severely lacking. Waitress named Ethan failed to mention their card reader was down until she gave us the bill and we had enjoyed our meal. She then proceeded to tell us that she would need another form of payment. All we had was card. She then said if we left, she would call the police. She proceeded to argue with my husband about how it was his problem that she couldnt take out payment. I went to a local gas station and pulled out money from the atm which I had to pay a service fee for. Drove back to the Waffle House and paid for the meal while Ethan continued to argue with my husband. Other customers also needed to use card but luckily noticed the arguing going on between the waitress and my husband.

You would think when I'm the only customer in the entire restaurant that they would be able to get my order right, but apparently that is too high of an expectation.The cook and waitress that are on shift tonight need to find different line of work.

The staff was very nice and welcoming. NeNe was a great. She took the order fast.

When you order 2 waffles, they will automatically charge a single waffle price twice even when they stated there’s a double waffle for a cheaper price. I don’t understand why they do that when it’s paid by one person. I understand when it’s separate payment, but I think it’s a scammed to do that, to charged a single waffle price twice for 2 waffles instead of the double waffles price… it doesn’t matter if it’s for one person or two people, it was paid by the same person! Not two payments.

The step was friendly and I got to know them first name basis and especially the late shift to midnight shift back crew was very considered a patient understanding and made me feel comfortable and then what I mean with no pressure or nothing else

I feel it's a darn shame that the third shift crew is NEVER open and always pick and choose, which is pretty biased, on what customers they are going to serve. They do not even do to go only, when you pull up they swipe their hand by their neck, referencing that they are closed with a rockstar cook and server.KUDOS to the location I think 2156 on Sandy Plains!!! It is sad how that crew always have to do extra work and take care of extra customers because the WILLIAMS DRIVE location discriminates against certain people.I really think they have got used to not being open and are lazy. I would recommend corporate to definitely "Undercover Boss" that location, shame on the manager at Williams Drive. ONCE AGAIN, kudos to Ellie and her crew at 2156, they really care and it shows with the food and the great customer service. My family and I will definitely make the 2156 our new home.

Called to place a to-go order but they did not answer the phone and said they weren't doing to-go orders.As I passed the building 5 minutes later the parking lot had TWO white vans in it. That is it. It was not busy.

They’re employees had a sign outside that read “take out only from 2-4:30 pm. At 1:25pm they told us we could not dine in…maybe you should hire some employees that do their job. Will not return
