Never have I been so embarrassed at a restaurant. My husband, my 2 children (one 4 and the other 3 months) and my self got sat at a table rather quick, but never waited on. Two other tables were seated after us and received service. Still no one came to acknowledge us. It was so bad that my 4 year old started saying were is our person very loud. We ended up leaving because still no one came over. It was not busy at all, Tuesday at 6pm. Not sure if it's because we had our kids with us or something more, but we were ignored as multiple servers walked pass us but never saying one word. It was like we were not even there is their eyes. Never have I had this happen and was so embarrassed.
Service is getting better. Still prone to serving cold French fries.Refills beer or other can be slow.+200 Beer choices are great. If you can't find a beer you like, you don't really like beer.Food is good. Timing on service is inconsistent.
Food is great, I usually go in and sit at the bar To get a quick lunch for dinner. I always get the chicken BLT salad, Which is so good. I think they have the best ranch dressing anywhere
The food is flavorful. The wait staff we encountered was very friendly and helpful. The only criticism I have is that all the food was incredibly greasy. One taco I had oil dripping from it when I lifted off the plate.
I took a client into Taco Mac Marietta for lunch. We sat over 30 minutes no attention. The booths around us were getting taken care of. The waitress walked by us 5-8 times never acknowledging us nor saying I will be right with you. While sitting I noticed at least 5 waitresses standing with the hostess talking while we sat there ignored. This was my first trip to Taco Mac and it will be my last ! This store is in sad shape they need to train their staff obviously. Even with all the trouble covid has brought this is totally unacceptable by any eatery. Needless to say I will never return nor bring a client there.
The wait for dinner time was very long. We were seated promptly, however it took about 10 to 15 minutes to get asked about drinks and get them. I did order a fruity alcoholic drink that I liked a lot. However, they only have paper straws. My boyfriend and I always have real straws in the car for this occasion. So bring your own straws if you want to use one! The cheese dip we got was already cold. We asked for pickled jalapeños and they brought us fresh. The fish that I ordered was so greasy that it was inedible. The grease dripped onto the fries it was sitting on top of and also made those inedible. However, I was able to order 3 alcoholic beverages and fill up on those instead.
Got 6 medium wings tonight. They were the tiniest wings I've seen in my life. They were dry and overcooked and had no wet sauce on them at all. I should have sent them back but I just asked for extra sauce. They used to let you substitute fries for the celery but no more.I ended up just ordering fries (2.99) and they brought me a small cardboard container with a few cold looking fries in it. They weren't even up to the top of the container. I asked the server if that was a full order and she said that it was. I told her that if that was what I get for 2.99 they could just take them back. She took them back. After I completely finished the wings and was ready to leave, they brought me another container of actual fresh fries that had about triple the amount in it which is what I recall haven't gotten on previous visits.I've been to several other Taco Macs and have never had this poor of an experience.
This was my first time but I will be back. Courtney was my server and he was awesome! We got a wrap and a burger and both were delicious. A good atmosphere I look forward to going back to watch a game and eat.
Hannah was the BEST!!! Went there for the hawks vs. Celtics game tonight with my fiancé and the wings, beer, and service was bomb (per usual). Anyone who hates on this place is just a hater in general. Also, she brought my phone out to my car which was so unlike me to leave it but seriously she’s the best. Ask for her :)
If I had the phone number for the GM, I’d call him/her directly. Every single order we make comes out wrong. Every. Single. One. No ownership of mistakes and no ability to correct errors made. I’ve given them a lot of grace over the years, but that time is over. Our family is done giving money to this Taco Mac.
