A fantastic place to enjoy a snack or meal. The food quality was excellent. The staff was willing to help with every detail to provide a great experience. The food was served at the temperature it was required to be so. We were there Easter day and it was very busy. They did not make us feel rushed to get to the next group and overall I thought the food was excellent! I'm certainly looking forward to eating there again. Bon appetit! If you have found my review helpful please give me a thumbs up ? and feel free to follow me for future reviews.

Sugar Cakes has always been our favorite breakfast spot until today. We started with a very rude “hostess”. Our food was not like it used to be. The eggs tasted and looked like powdered eggs. The bacon was very thick and tasteless. One cup of hot tea cost more that $4.00 - for one tea bag? Absurd! We wondered if the restaurant is under new management?

The smoked salmon eggs Benedict was delightful! The sweet crepes were good, but could use a little more sauce. The service wasnt very warm thoughWhen I asked the lady at the register did she like the crepes she said she didn't know. She's never tried them.I feel like a server should know their menu, have tested their menu, and should be able to give an accurate description of any food item on the menu as to make your mouth water. She just acted like a cashier. The food was delicious! The service was like fast food

Went here for brunch on a Sunday at around 11:30. It actually wasn’t too crowded when we got there, probably because it was earlier and raining at the time. It got busier at around 12.We sat at a duo table which was really small but most of their tables are square and larger. Service was fine, we didn’t get checked up on once after we ordered though but it was no biggie.I ordered the waffles that came with a side of bacon, fruit, and syrup. In the picture you’ll see whipped cream but it doesn’t come with the waffles, I asked for it. The waffles themselves were AMAZING and soooo soft. My friend ordered a panini sandwich and fries that she thought was great. Each person was about 15-17 dollars, not the most expensive but also not the cheapest considering the portions. However I would definitely come back here and the food was great!

My first time here…great customer service an was greeted very fast upon arrival…food was awesome…cool laid back atmosphere…very friendly staff…I will definitely be back for a second visit…

Had a marvelous breakfast here with the fiancée; fantastic food for a reasonable price!! Staff were attentive and personable, food exceeded expectations, coffee unique (in a good way!), and the ? was to die for! Certainly we would consider doing breakfast here again!

Always a treat when visiting Sugar Cakes! Food never disappoints and the staff is always friendly. Got to try the Creme Brulee French toast ? with a side of eggs and bacon. Fruit wasn't fresh unfortunately, however I switched it out for the potatoes. My friend had a veggie omlette with cheese grits. Delicious and never felt rushed to leave, since they were so busy. Was also able to snap a picture of a super cute cake they made. Oh and I can't forget their butter croissants are so delicious. My daughter loves them. Stop in if ever in the area.

I heard this place had great food and wanted to try it for a Sunday brunch. On the website it states they close at 2pm. Two times my husband and I got there between 1:30 and 1:40 (because of schedule) and both times we were rudely turned away. They told us the chef decided to stop serving at 1:30 despite the fact that I had called ahead asking what time they took their last seating, which they told me was 1:45. I even pointed out to them the time it was and regardless, they were extremely rude. You lost potentially two great customers.

Their shrimp and grits was delicious! My husband also enjoyed his French Toast, but he said it was basic.

Wonderful place with great breakfast options. The food was delicious.
