I wanted to support this local business so much, but unfortunately the entire meal was not up to southern cooking standards. The turkey meatloaf’s texture (like potted meat) and flavor (the type of salty that makes your mouth dry) made it inedible - and it was served on top of rice for some reason... The dressing was covered in the same overly salty gravy as the meatloaf. I ordered collards, but received mushy, canned green beans. The yams tasted only of imitation vanilla and corn syrup. All I ate was the “cornbread” out of this whole $20+ meal.
I visited with my boyfriend earlier today and we love our meals! The food is fresh, flavorful and authentic soul food. The employees and owner and super friendly! I will be back!
I’m here from Augusta, and I’ve been ordering food getting out in traffic.. when all along this place has been in walking distance. Everything was good I had pork chop, Mac, and cabbage and it was Delish… I don’t even eat cabbage and I wasn’t going to try it.. but geez.. yummy I must say… very clean inside and a smiling face. Thank you!!!
The food here it not southern cooking at all I'm born and raised in Ga the corn bread was to sweet its just ho southern woman prepare food here in Ga if eat here they or just hungry I have to be honest we have real Cooks in Georgia the food tastes if there's somebody is lying how to cook this is not meant to offend anybody there I just have to be honest have to be honest cooking is my passion
Wow, Where do I start. The Atmosphere is Amazing and So Southern Friendly. The Food is Soooo Good, I could not stop even though I was full, it's just that Awesome, Best Southern Soul Home Good Cooking. Everything is Never A Wrong Choice. I will Definitely Be Returning Again. Thank You So Much.

I was on the freeway and I googled soul food restaurant and it took me here. I absolutely loved it. I will surely be back. The Keylime cake was delicious.
I have had better. Service was good. Food not so good. Dry pork chop. Potato salad too sweet, dressings ok
The food here is outstanding. It tastes like home. I'm just too poor to afford $20-$25 a meal here otherwise i'd come more.
