fast service. great food...
Food was delicious..but very, verysmall portions and forgot a whole meal..
Best Chicken ever! The staff was wonderful and desserts to die for. My kids loved the tacos and hot dogs. Don’t miss out on this fabulous restaurant!
Tacos are always great. Love their fries too. Plan to go back again and try something different.
I went to Ponko Chicken for the first time and I love it. It’s reassuring to find a place that provides quality food, good service, and fair prices. I am definitely adding this place to my list of favorites. You need to check this place out yourself and you’ll see for yourself what I mean. ? ??
Food quality and customer service have gone downhill. Better options in the market with actual human interaction instead of someone on their phone chatting it up.
Fed a team of 31... for the second year in a row. Food is delicious, atmosphere is spot on. Wish we had one of these in Michigan
I visited this black owned establishment on Friday, January 21, 2021. It is located in the Marietta Square Food hall. Every staff me ever had on a mask, and they also have a 100 health score. I ordered the Ponko chicken plate which comes with 2 sides. I ordered the 3 piece ponko chicken in original flavoring with green beans, and the ponko rice, the carrot cake cup which is made from scratch, and the honey almond tea. Upon purchase the guy at the counter asked if I was dining in or doing take out which I stated dining in. The service was fast and quick and I received my food within 10 minutes. Marietta square food Hall does have various seating options for dining in, which include many tables and places for groups and solo diners to eat. Once I found my seat as a solo diner, I began to eat my meal which was quite tasty. The chicken was crispy with a great coating, a great crunch which was balanced by the nice soft tender inside. The green beans had a nice savory and hearty taste. The rice was a bit like warm temperature wise compared to the hot chicken and green beans which is why I took a star off. The honey almond tea had a balanced sweet taste which was refreshing. I even drank the tea the following day and it was still refreshing. I would advise anyone dining at Marietta square food hall, especially on a busy night to protect themselves and enforce other patrons to socially distance from them so they don’t have increased exposure to COVID-19. With that being said, the food hall does have ample parking directly outside. Upon finishing my food, there are trash receptacle stations for one to place a plate and tray. I would recommend this business to anyone in the Marietta area who wants a nice quick chicken plate with a great taste and flavor profile.
Went there and they were out of almost everything. I paid $8 for a chicken sandwich and it was very underwhelming. Chicken was dry and there was barely any on there, also it had no cole slaw. My partner got the spicy chicken plate, it was soooo sweet and not spicy at all. Overall, would not dine here again.
I love this place. The BBQ ponko chicken with rice is one of my favorites! Definitely give it a try.
