Not worth it unfortunately, we tried but Zaxbys is better! I will say the place is nice and clean. Service could be a lot better, out of the many front line employees only one was very pleasant. Overall food and service needs to be better!
I usually eat here and the food is good, but today it was horrible! My wings were gummy when I asked for extra crispy and the fries were soggy. My side salad was welted and I just threw it in the trash. The girls at the counter looked at me weird but I ignored them and I wanted to call and report my experience but I didn’t feel the staff would care. I spent over 40 bucks for a 20 piece wing, fry basket, and side salad and I must say it was not worth it.
My family took me for the first time tonight. All the tables were dirty so I had to use the moist towelettes to clean the table. Then after about 30 mins of waiting my boneless wings were pretty much all batter and small, crusty and dry. But my wife's boneless tenders were big plump and juicy but mine broke the plastic fork just trying to eat them. All of our fries were burned except for my sons fries that came with his kids meal. Clearly there is someone overlooking the quality control in the kitchen for all of our food to come out different. To say the least my first try at Otters will be my last, the whole experience was extremely disappointing.
Really good experience, great staff. Food is occasionally too salty but otherwise delightful.
Chicken tenders, and more chicken tenders. They do it well, but there's nothing particularly exciting or novel about them. The secret seems to be in the sauces, Buffalo sauce was good, otter sauce is better.Prices are a little steep for what you get - a combo includes fries, but not a drink, so after adding $10 for those you can expect to pay around $45-50 for a family of 4. And - 6.99 for a kids grilled cheese? Jeez.As of July 2022 they're also adding a 9% 'inflation surcharge', which is understandable, but still annoying.I'll come back, but it's not a destination I'm likely to seek out.
I went to Otters on Dallas Highway yesterday. I ordered Crazy Fries with a drink. At first they didn't give me my drink and I had to ask for it. Then I waited 37 minutes to get my food. The food was good but it wasn't 37 minutes good. Next time im going to zaxbys.
This place is great if you like chicken! I had some chicken wings and they were great but I didn't get any flats but sometimes you gotta play the hand you are dealt lol
I've eaten here twice in one week! The 2nd time I went in to order and the lady at the register was so incredibly nice! Blown away by the customer service, that alone will make me return. Anyway, on to the food. I've had the tenders and fries both times. Each time was delicious! The ranch is the house made kind you want to drink. I tried the blue cheese because sometimes I like it but theirs is exxxtra blue cheesy. More than I like. The establishment was clean. I got a fountain drink at the self serve station and everything was clean and sanitary. Speaking of sanitary, there is a hand sanitizer station at the door. Use it you filthy heathen.
Every to-go order I place over the phone they say “it will be 15-20 minutes” me knowing it is busy hints why I order ahead. Have been sitting here inside after I have paid for 20+ minutes while others who order after me get their order. I am hangry and need my food ?
We have to drive almost 45 minutes to get to Otter's but it is always worth it. The prices are reasonable, the food is great and the staff is friendly and extremely hard working. If they were not helping a customer or delivering an order, they were sweeping, cleaning, taking out trash. It was amazing to see how hard everyone worked and they seemed to be enjoying their job while they were doing it. Customer service at its best!
