I’ve ordered twice through DoorDash because they’re close to my house, and both times I have been disappointed. Both times I ordered filet mignon and shrimp hibachi (x2). Both times I requested the filet to be cooked medium. Both times the filet was severely burnt, dry, and tough as beef jerky. It was also the smallest filet I’ve ever seen (maybe 3 ounces of meat). Both times the shrimp were severely burnt too. Apparently whoever is cooking to-go orders doesn’t care that the meat is the expensive part of the meal. The regular hibachi fried rice is excellent, but the chicken fried rice was revolting. I spit it out and it went directly into the trash. This restaurant has the potential to be really great, but at present they’re not even meeting customer expectations. Master the basics first: don’t burn the meat.
Me and my boyfriend love coming to Okinawa! We love getting the spring rolls - the sauce with them is amazing! We also get the filet mignon hibachi. I get double vegetables most of the time because they're so good! My boyfriend gets double rice! Their salad and ginger dressing is the best I've had at hibachi style restaurants! I also love getting a glass of wine with my food. The waiters and waitresses are always very attentive. We have gotten the food to go as well, but it's always best to go in person!
This place is always hopping! The people are friendly and courteous, very knowledgeable and helpful! Food is prepared very quickly and things seem to be very well organized. Seems like a real nice place to dine. Bathrooms are a little cramped but always clean and well stocked.
I love the food at this restaurant!. This was my third time trying the food I had the General Tso's chicken with crab ragoons. The food was hit and fresh. The vegetables and the chicken. The crab ragoons we're fresh as well, but I didn't really care that much for them. Something was missing from them. Overall this is a great place to have lunch or dinner. I will be going back to try more things on the menu.
8/10 I order from here, they forget to include the sauces I pay for. I wouldn't be so worried about it if they offered the sauces as a complimentary item but they are paid for and itemized on the receipt. It is not ok to leave them out. Especially not on a consistent basis.
The food was decent, but I had hair in my food. That’s a turned off badly. Please do better with that. In addition, the portion is small due a high price. Order at your own risk. I don’t like to eat hair in my food. That’s very disgusting.
I make it a point to drive out of my way to eat at Okinawa. I eat here in average 2x per week.My family enjoys the hibachi meal while I like the traditional Chinese dishes. Good prices for the food you receive. Ginger dressing on the salad is very good.If you want great service, ask for Gabby. The others are nice too, but Gabby is an equal reason to the food as to why I visit here so often.She is always so nice and personable. She greets me and my family with a happy welcome and the service from her is the BEST!
To those who want yakisoba noodles, don't order it here!!!! To the left is what yakisoba noodles really are but to the right is what you get at this place. Basically it's Ramen noodles with little fatty pieces of beef. I felt like I was back in college with the Ramen. Totally disappointing. Their sushi is great though.
In my opion, food is good. Food foam containers will be better than food plastic containers. Hoping your restaurant updates it as soon.
The customer service at this restaurant is poor at the front counter. The servers are not friendly at all. I've been to this restaurant several times and they aren't welcoming at all. They could definitely take customer service lessons from their other restaurant in Cartersville GA
